I paid roughly $$$ and got a samsonite-quality carryon bag. I have been using it for a little over a month and a half, and it's very strong on the outside, while having a very smooth and soft interior that stores a lot of things. Will love using it on my flight I have planned in the near future.

Purchased this 21 inch upright garment bag for a 5 day business trip. I was able to pack two suits, plus 5 or six dress shirts in the garment bag portion. I was then able to fit 6+ polo shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of shoes, socks, underwear, etc.. for 5 days. I was very impressed with how this little bag was able to expand. I purchased a larger / higher end garment bag from **** "just in case" this little bag couldn't hold everything, but to my surprise this bag exceeded expectations. The **** bag has already been returned. I could buy two of these for the price of one Samsonite. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this luggage set in black. Survived four international trips, until the last trip from Mongolia. The smaller luggage got crushed beyond repair in the corner. The bigger one got big tear on one side. It barely made back home with heavy duty tapes covering the tears. The pros: it's lightweight and easy to maneuver. For the price, I probably willing to buy again, but this time only for short flights/certain destinations. For long overhaul, I will stick to my old hardside Samsonite.

I did a lot of research before buying this for my husband, who was looking for a carry on/upright garment bag. Originally we planned to get the Samsonite one but that was discontinued. I came upon this one. The only clarification I'd add to the description of this product is that yes, it is expandable. The photos don't really show the expansion zipper and I love having the flexibility to add capacity to the bag. It would not fit as a carry on if expanded though. It's made out of good quality material. The zippers are sturdy. The handles are good but probably not as good as Samsonite. I like the two separate compartments in the bag. My husband has really wide shoulders and the garment compartment fits his jackets well. Haven't tested it out on the road yet, but hopefully it'll last a good while!

Not a Samsonite but it works. Got what I paid for. My only mistake was buying black like everyone else who travels.

I needed a stylish and strong carry on, and was skeptical about purchasing one on line w/ out being able to see it first. This Lotus, is large enough to expand for 2 weeks worth of travel wardrobe & gear, but small enough to be much more manageable than my large Samsonite carry on. Plus, I love the styling, color and design. It's kind of soft sided, but tougher edges where it counts, plus it has protective rubber guards on the pressure & placement points. There are also two small transverse zipper pouches on the interior security straps. There's always more room needed for my incidentals! It also came with bags for shoes & zipper catch all bag ( love that), in addition it has a little small zipper pouch configured into the rear exterior, perf for my boarding pass and kindle.

I bought this carry on as a replacement to my the one I have had for years (Samsonite). I wanted an upright carry on that had "spinners" to allow me to maneuver swiftly through the airport. Although this suitcase is close to the same size as my existing luggage, it does not seem to hold as many clothes. I have enough room for about 3 days of clothing for this bag versus a full week with my other. The quality of the bag is decent but I doubt it will stand the test of time. I was very interested in having a bag with spinners but these spinners are too close to the ground (from bag to floor) and seem to collect debris. I had nothing but trouble trying to "spin" this item through the airport as it froze up on most hard surfaces and with carpet, I ended up dragging it. I gave this bag to my husband who travels 1-2 times per year as it is not for the frequent business traveler.

I bought this for a 3 day Miami - London trip for a wedding. I needed a wardrobe bag to carry my suit for the wedding, which I did not want to wear on the long flight. I generally dislike normal garment bags, because i feel they are not very practical in most cases for me. I happened upon this item, and thought I'd give it a try. The price was about $xxx, but after cashing in my "O" bucks, it was about $42 shipped. It is very well constructed. Don't expect samsonite silhouette build quality, but it is easily 1/3 the price, but not 1/3 the quality. Out of the box, it had a fairly strong "new" smell. I left it open for a few days and it disappeared. It is a great carry-on piece with a lot of functionality. The handle works effortlessly, and it piggybacks a hefty briefcase or backpack on top quite nicely. The wheels seem sturdy. I walked a lot with it during the 3 day trip, on all sorts of surfaces, from smooth to quite rough (cobblestone), and it was great. Time will tell as to durability, but for the money, a great buy. My suit? I'm a 46 XL, and a 2 piece suit and dress shirt folded nicely into the included zippered garment pouch. Very few wrinkles. Highly recommend this item.

We bought 2 of these right before they sold out. I am strapping them to my bike and they are a perfect size for this. Be aware that the case has a "textured finish", not smooth as the picture would indicated. this is better as it cuts down on the scuff marks. We had a samsonite with a gloss finish that scuffed when you looked at it hard.
