The case is fine, but the problem I have with it is the internal framing and the way this was cut, leaving sharp metal edges. This framing is covered by a very thin nylon lining inside the bottom, which can be unzipped. Unzipping reveals that the manufacturer simply used masking tape to cover over the raw metal edges, and sometimes not very well. Left alone, these edges would cut through the lining in a heartbeat. I covered all the sharp edges with gorilla tape, but it seems lame and like a problem waiting to happen. Also this framing takes up a lot of space. On the plus side, the case is deceptively small in appearance but actually holds a huge amount of stuff. Also it is incredibly lightweight. Overall it was worth the $$$ and I'm satisfied with the purchase. Overstock was very prompt with delivery.

I love the Lightweight Luggage! I get lots of looks when I go places and the long handle with the chrome plated heavy metal wheels make it SO EASY FOR PULLING... I love everything about my Carry-on Luggage! I got the Orange one. I rated it 5 STARS and there isn't anything I haven't liked about it yet. Thanks OVERSTOCK for the great deal. Worth EVERY penny to me. You Are Going To Love It!!!

I was very pleased with this luggage. Looking for a smaller sized one for those weekend trips and tired of the black ones. Got the dark metallic candy apple red one. Very fun. Wanted the hot pink one but was afraid I was too "old" for it! I still want it! The only drawback are the online pics. There is no way to tell whether you are getting a metallic or matte finish. Overstock has this problem with most of their products. It's always a guessing game what you are going to get. There's no reason not to have a close up zoom on this and furniture and garments and rugs. If there is one supplied it's totally inadequate (like on the rugs). I suspect Overstock would make twice as many sales if they stopped to improve this function, because people back off with the bigger items when they can not closely see what they are getting! Even the reviews state this. Get with the program Overstock!

We bought two of these suitcases for my kids about two and a half years ago. My daughter has the teal color, my son the metallic red. Still rolling strong, and are perfect for them to take on road trips or planes. The only issue is the wear and tear on the bags. The teal one has been scuffed, but they can usually be rubbed off with a Magic Eraser. The red one, though, has a metallic finish and so using something abrasive messes that up, plus some of the scuffs have rubbed off the finish. Definitely showing more wear than the matte colors.

I bought two of these for a 10-day trip Husband and I took to Florida last summer. We had plenty of room for all of our clothes, a spare pair of shoes, and I even was able to put my laptop and bag of cables and accessories in it. It is deceptively small, but actually quite spacious, especially if you pack wrinkle-resistance clothing that you can roll up tightly in your case. I actually prefer the 2-wheel rolling design over the 4-wheel "spinner" cases, because the wheels are tucked away and don't add to the overall external size of the piece. The colors are stunning. I got the red for myself (a lovely metallic candy apple red reminiscent of a high-end racing bicycle), and the dark blue one for Husband. They got many compliments from fellow travelers at every airport. The best part of it is that the external dimensions are small enough to be GUARANTEED to be allowed on board with you, hands down, 1000000% of the time. No more panic attacks over not having your panties with you when you get to your destination. Do yourself a favor and get one of these. If you need to carry more volume in gear for any trip, it ahead, instead of risking airline luggage service.

I purchased this suitcase because my other carry-on bag had to go sideways in some overhead bins. I generally fly Delta and this will definitely meet their carry on standards. The construction is different from any other suitcase I've had. It is very lightweight and part of the reason seems to be there is very little metal in in. (no metal hinges). My favor feature is the zippers in what would traditionally be the lining. It's perfect for separating dirty clothes or shoes, but can also just be a lining. The bag is large enough for me (I good packer) to use for a week long trip in the summer packing two pairs of shoes. My plan is to use this strictly as a carry-on bag, because it is different from what I'm use to, I really don't have a good feel for how long it would last if I checked it.

The wheels are great and spin much smoother than other spinner wheels, effortlessly. The cup holder on the outside side is a very nice feature (you unzip and extend the mesh out a little; it does not eat internal bag space). The big outside front pocket looks like it could hold a laptop, but alas, it still was not big enough for my 14" screen laptop, so no joy there. The big outside pocket would be great for a tall man's shoes, but is overkill for so many other things, except maybe file folders. The top outside pocket actually extends down into the big pocket below it, so it could hold the quart ziploc of travel liquids/gels/etc, and maybe even the boarding pass and driver's license packet, and maybe maybe cell phone (but all that's pushing it). I am not a fan of the smaller oblong opening you must squeeze the clothes through; it is somewhat restrictive. And the expansion is onto that oblong sectional area, so it is not as much expansion volume as you might think. The zippers work smoothly. The surprising downside is that it has certain airline (AA) logo and text all over it and the long metal zipper pulls, so I got some attitude when I flew a different airline.

Bought two of these a year ago in blue and red. The red has a metallic finish, while the blue has a flat finish. They've come on almost every trip either by plane or car because they are so light and work so well. Rolling is smooth even over uneven ground. My fiance has taken his on multiple business trips to Asia. It does get scratched up pretty easily so if you want a pristine work of art then don't use it.. to me the scratches are a sign of a well-used and therefore functional piece of luggage. You should avoid checking it in if possible to extend its life. Besides, it is a perfect carry on size, so why pay the baggage fees or have to wait at baggage claim? We have basically stopped using our other luggage unless we really need the extra space..

I purchased three different colors of this luggage. It appears (from sponsored photographs) the colors are of metallic tone. The colors I purchased have no metallic tone (Orange, Blue, Turquoise). Other than the colors not being what I expected, the items were for gifts and the recipients are delighted to have them. Quality is good and exactly what I expected. Two of the three had a nice built in locking mechanism, the third was a standard zipper lock (maybe older model).
