looked great but two handles broke after 3-4 trips...not made well or we got a bad set??

I should have taken the previous reviewers comments more seriously. I really liked the appearance, so I disregarded the information about poor construction of the handles. Two handles broke on our first trip. Very disappointing.

Once I received the luggage I noticed the handles were made of vinyl. The stitching on the front is also made of vinyl. Because of this I felt the handle will not hold up on airline travel. The handles will eventually tear easily. Some of the vinyl was already tearing from the stitching on handle. Probably o.k. for weekender luggage but not for airline travel.
