Calvin Klein 'Mercer' Laptop Case

I was looking for a laptop bag that wasn't your "run of the mill" black nylon-type bag. This is a really great bag for anyone looking for style combined with functionality. While not the largest in terms of capacity, I've found that that keeps me from lugging around unnecessary junk, like I used to. The color is what I would describe as taupe -- very close to what the picture shows. The orange stitching, which can;t really be seen in the picture was anticipated due to a prior review, and I very much like it. There is a velcro strap to keep my laptop in place, as well as many dividers for things to include checkbook, pens, etc. The sleeve to slide over my rollable suitcase handle when traveling is a great plus. This is a cool bag...

• How accurate was the sizing? Spot on. I use this for my work laptop, which is on the smaller side, and there is plenty of room to spare...

I shopped and shopped and shopped for something both functional and stylish. Ended up with this bag. It is very nice looking, better than the images would indicate. Looks kind of like plastic in the pics, but looks more like clothe or textured nylon in person. Is very nice quality also. I don't expect fraying along the zippers, for example. Has orange thread highlights that aren't so obvious in the pics, but look great in person. It's not super roomy.Has 2 zippered compartments. The main compartment holds the laptop. Holds my 13 inch laptop nicely with a Velcro strap to hold it in place, and is padded nicely. Would probably fit and be snug for a 15 inch laptop. 17 inch no way.There are two pockets across from where the laptop goes and these fit my battery brick and associated cord in one pocket and my WD elite portable hard drive (in its case) in the other. After that, maybe room for a thin paperback, and that's it. The other zipper compartment also has two pockets: One pocket holds my headphones (in their case) and a mobile mouse in the other pocket. Has two pen holders as well.So, it will carry the essentials. Has another zipper pocket for boarding pass/passport, which is hidden behind the piggyback sleeve on the back.Looks great, weighs in at less than 10 pounds with all that stuff in it. Perfect for what I was looking for!
