I ordered 2 of these bags to transport items I use for in-home party sales. Therefore, they've never seen an airport. I have taken them to 8 parties: in and out of my car, up and down stairs, through the snow and they have held up well. My problem is they hold too much and each one weighs over 50 pounds, difficult to go up and down stairs with in heels. I would not call this a duffle bag, though, it's a full-blown suitcase.

Great looking and well designed as a piece of luggage. We just used it on a 2 week trip to Alaska with a private tour company that was quite careful with it. Unfortunately, the retractable handle on my husband's bag broke during week 1, and two grommets on mine broke during week 2. Our conclusions: not very durable!

This item arrived and surprised me with its quality. Strongly made and with loads of little nooks and crannies to store items. Very good piece of kit, great value for money.

I'm using this as a book bag for nursing school. Too many books to carry! Well-built, very roomy interior with side pockets for extras. Easy up and down handle. Easy roll wheels. Good value for the money. I would also use this as a carry-on or weekend get-a-way bag. I really like the handle on the side of the bag so you can carry it horizontally--nice for shorter people! I do wish I could use it as a backpack as well.
