good not great
This is a good sized duffle--holds a lot, but you can still walk through doorways normally. Other large duffles I've used are too wide, and you end up banging into the walls. The bottom pocket is perfect for throwing dirty laundry after a weekend trip. My only real issue with it is that the side pockets don't fit shoes comfortably. I wear a size 11, and while I can wedge my shoes in there if I position them just right, it's a pain. The shoulder strap is comfortable enough. I've only had the bag a month, but I've owned CalPak stuff before and it generally holds up well over time.

Bought this to go to Canada for a week and it was awesome. It had enough space for everything I had.

This product is extreemly well made, good quality zippers and very heavy material, which should lead to a long and prosperous life cycle.however some functionality is missing. Bags I have used in the past include an outside pocket or two for water bottles which this product does not have and quite frankly I miss. Also the hardware for the shoulder straps are plastic, it should be metal. the strap has separated from its buckle twice, but should only be an issue if you really load up the bag, which I do occasionally.
