I was dissapointed with this purchase. The leather felt and looked like plastic and had a strange odor when I opened it, that did not want to go away. I returned this item because of this. I have purchased other leather bags from overstock before and never have had this problem. Non the less given overstocks great customer serivce I will purchase from them again.

This is a SLING PACK not a Backpack. It does not have a zipper strap that allows you to convert the purse from a sling to a backpack. The material and construction are great. However if you need something completely hands free and you are looking for "backpack style" do not get this purse. The sling strap DOES slip off your shoulder. The only way to wear this purse hands free and it not slip off is to cross over from one side to the next( like you would a messenger bag). From the pictures I could not tell for certain that it was only a sling.... The price was great but I was really hoping for a convertible backpack bag. OH WELL !

Nice bag for the money with good attention to material and hardware. A minus was the strong naphtalene odor emanating from the bag which was noticeable not only to me but to people sitting or standing near me. It also permeated items I carried in the bag. By now though the odor has dissipated and I am enjoying my bag. Thanks Overstock!
