  • Can't wait to use it

I just received my CalPak rolling backpack and am very happy. It looks really nice and rolls very smoothly. I like the tire design and the comfort grip handle on the top. I chose the blue plaid color and it's super cute. This pack has a lot of room but does not have a specific water bottle space. The front pocket however works well for this. I think this pack will work nicely for me. If I have any complications after using it for real I'll rewrite my review, but for now I think I'm set for the new school year.

  • Okay, but not at roomy as I'd hoped

Product seems of average quality and was as advertised, but ultimately is not as roomy as my son needs for school. He needs to carry his books, school work, a lunch bag, and sometimes gym clothes. A larger Jansport backpack with two full-sized compartments and a few small pockets works better for him than a backpack with one large compartment and one smaller compartment. We kept this as a back-up, however, because the price was so inexpensive.

This item was $$$ and in two shorts weeks of using it, the metal clip wasn't substantial enough to keep the strap in place!! The strap kept breaking and she was unable to use it.

  • Convenient but zipper broke first time I used it

It is very convenient - I was looking for a backpak- on wheels so could relieve my back going from point A to B. It fits under front seat on an economy sized airplane, but not on the small planes (puddle-jumpers) but does fit in overhead bin on these. The main zipper broke the first time I used it - that is one side did, meaning if you use one of the two zippers to close the compartment, it does not zip. I have to use the other zipper to close the compartment. I think you can find better deals.

  • Good size for school books and supplies

Bought this for my son who needed a book bag that would carry all his books and supplies, including a large binder. This was exactly what he needed. Everything fits. This is really a great size for what he needs.
