This was an awesome deal for the bag. It is high quality and comparably cheaper than the same size bag on the market. I use this as my 5 day survival bag and it is more than accommodating!

This is a nice size, light weight, and has ample pockets.

I was thinking this would be large enough for my Inspiron 15, but the laptop section is too short, so I can't secure the laptop with the Velcro. It does fit in the backpack, but not in the laptop section. It was more of a hassle to send it back and try again with the vague descriptions of the other laptop bags I decided to deal with this one. Other than that, it looks like a regular backpack for books.

I love the style of this bag. It's so me. The leather is very high quality and the construction inside is top notch. It balances on the body well, even though I am small in stature. The bag is a little heavy but is built like a tank, so you have a great sense of security. My favorite quality is how it stands up when you set it down. No more bending over to pick up my laptop bag after it has fallen on its side. I would recommend potential buyers think carefully about what's important to them in a bag before buying. This is a specialized backpack. It has no external pockets and isn't the easiest to get into in a pinch. It's very much a hard shell to protect your valuable laptop. The space in the bag is also best suited for flat-ish things (papers, notebooks, computer accessories and fold-flat headphones.) You're not going to be able to cram a change of clothes in here easily... so think about how you use your backpacks before buying.

We bought three of these for our family's 72 hour emergency kits. They seem sturdy and comfortable with their padded straps. They were exceptionally roomy for all of our supplies. Definitely a great price for a hiking backpack! Planning on getting three more to complete our family's needs.

I have this back pack for few month now. I can say it has good quality of the material and design, especially I like the front lock, but zipper is terrible - it covered with some kind of fabric or protection, I don't know exactly what is it, which started to rip off just after couple of weeks I started to use it. Now It looks old because of the zipper. I had to buy new one,. this time I bought Case Logic which looks more neat and I hope will be more practical.

I brought this backpack for my 9 y/o son. The backpack was very sturdy, and was able to store a lot of his books. When he turned 10, we put away the backpack as he want something w/o wheels. The new back pack only lasted 4 months before the strap broke, so now he goes back to using his Rolling Backpack. It may not look as 'cool' as a strap backpack, but it is a lot more durable and cause less backpain. Would recommend this.

I purchase this back pack for my trip. I served it's purpose. It isn't an quality made product. The inside of the flap is made with cardboard. However, for the price and size. It was perfect for it's use.

I ordered this rolling backpack for my granddaughter because of its size. She had requested a similar one from another manufacturer. I checked the dimensions (selling point for me) and the price. I own another Pacific Gear rolling backpack and I love it. The material is very sturdy and its my only traveling companion. Of course, my granddaughter did not want it (it was not the "flavor" of the month). So I now have the backpack to myself, yeah!!!

The bag has been really great, several people at work have already asked me about it and I've recommended it to them every time. It's very well made, lots of room for it's size and the wheels are great plus it's still lightweight. Love it!

The backpack has plenty of room and pockets but amazingly enough it has no front stand at the bottom of the backpack. The instant you put a laptop or any thing else for that matter, the backpack falls right over . How they could overlook this very frustrating design flaw is beyond me . And this is one of the more expensive ones. i would never buy from JWorld again. Im looking for a replacement right now. I wouldnt give this away to anyone, it goes straight in the trash.

The backpack was for my grandson who is very hard on everything. The backpack will be dragged to school over pavement, rocks, and rough side walks everyday. So far so good. The bottom and the wheels seem to be durable enough. He has only had it two weeks, so I can't tell if it will last the whole year. Please with it so far.

I bought this backpack for my 9 year old for school. I like the size and seems roomy enough for his books. What I don't like is the retractable handle. There are two lengths - medium, and then fully extended. The medium setting is perfect for his size (fully extended is WAY to long), however, when you pull the handle out, it does not lock to the medium setting, it goes all the way to the fully extended position. To get to the medium setting, you have to push the handle back down while holding the bottom of the bar up, making this a TWO handed process, otherwise the handle and bar will just insert itself back into the backpack. I don't know if my backpack is defective, or if this is just the way it is. If this was a piece of travel luggage, this would be unacceptable, but since it's for school, we'll see how it goes.

I purchased this backpack for my 8 year old son. So far it has worked out for him as it has lots of compartments and plenty of room to haul his papers and books. It looks well made, but he has only used it for three weeks so further time is needed to see how well it holds up.

Bought this backpack for my now 9 yrs old son. His previous pack was constantly being dragged. He is a little smaller for his age and weight was an issue. Thought I would try the roller. The handle is a little too long. The look is great. Compartments great. Overall it was a hit with him.

Excellent design with compartments, good quality materials, solid wheels, great extending telescope handle length for tall people. You will be pleased with this purchase.

After hours of researching, CalPak Element backpack was most appealing to me with all the positive reviews. Upon arrival of this item, I was impressed by the quality of this backpack. Durablity, Ease of handling, to mention a few. My fifth grader may not like the styling of this backpack, but, this is the best backpack I,ve ever got for her. The best value for the price.
