This BEAUTIFUL bag appears to be made of high quality rip stop denier fabric--in any case it is not made of flannel. It has a "flannel type PLAID" . It is certainly water repellant; it may be water proof.
The bag is actually a kind of soft luggage typw computer case; lightweight but protective and just gorgeous quality in every respect. The laptop pocket is fully cushioned on both sides. There is a flap with pockets both external and internal, as well as cell phone holders and a mesh holder which would hold a water bottle or other portable potable.
This bag is almost outrageously attractive and functional.
It was part of a sixtieth birthday present for me, along with my new notebook, and I AM THRILLED with the moderate cost,high quality of function, and beautiful design of this ample, sharp laptop bag.
