I have to say, the photo does not do this briefcase justice. The leather is superb and the buckles just my style. Roomy yet lightweight, great for every day use. My friends think I paid a fortune!

This is one of the best briefcases I have bought in a long time! Light weight yet beautiful and durable leather! The inside is lined so that the leather particles do not come off on your belongings. A great value - I get compliments on it every day!

I'm a lawyer and you'd think with all the briefcases on the market, a nice one would be easy to find. I just love this briefcase. It goes with everything, beautifully made, and looks great. I'm very happy with it, so much I ordered two.

I was excited to get the bag, especially based on the rave reviews. The workmanship is good, the leather is nice. Overall the bag is well made. That said, the clasps for opening and closing are really below par. They are small, difficult to open and compared top the rest of the bag, pretty cheap. I open and close my bag a fair ammount(often on the plane, which is always tight quarters). You have to use two hands to open each side and even with using both hands, they're not easy to open because of their small size. I'm sending the bag back, which is really to bad, as the rest of the bag is so good.

I am thrilled with the high quality of this briefcase. I noticed a manufacturing flaw upon receipt of my new briefcase. I phoned the manufacturer and described the flaw to them. They sent me a replacement briefcase immediately! They also sent a prepaid UPS pick up for the defective case. What great service and what a quality manufacturer. I'M thrilled with my experience.

I bought this bag as a replacement for a "zipper" type travel bag with multiple compartments. I thought this would look more professional than what I had and it definitely does. I received many compliments on the bag the first week I used it. Definitely looks good. Still, I find the bag to be a hassle to use b/c one must usually use two hands to open it and you can't open it "part way" to reach your hand in and find something. You must hold the flap open with one hand so you may reach in with the second, look around, find what you want, etc. With a zipper bag like I had before, you could unzip with one hand, stick your hand in, pull something out, etc., all while talking on the cell phone, etc. Just not as easy with this bag. I also find the size is right on the border of being too large to fit comfortably under an airline seat. You can do it...but it's tight. And it's definitely not the type of bag you feel comfortable kicking and pushing around with your feet b/c it is a nicer quality bag. I'm bummed b/c I actually plan to go back to a much cheaper "zipper" type bag that doesn't look as good but to me is more functional when flying and riding the train each day.

I purchased this briefcase for my husband's birthday and he was very pleased and pleasantly surprised. He's an attorney so with all of his files and paperwork plus his laptop he definitely needed a roomy briefcase. We would recommend this briefcase to anyone. This briefcase expands well to hold a lot yet doesn't look bulky and overstuffed. We'll have to see how the handle holds up but we expect good things given the quality of the case. My husband also likes the feature of the optional shoulder strap since it helps when he has his hands full. My husband's only comment is that he would prefer a case without the top flap. A briefcase that simply opens wide-mouth at the top for easier access with one hand would be his preference. That is really a matter of taste and design. I couldn't find a briefcase of this quality with the exact design he wanted so I figured this case was a good compromise given its great price, quality, and good looks. Overall we are both VERY satisfied.

I'd been looking for a briefcase for work for quite some time. Found this one, and don't regret the purchase at all! It is very attractive, user friendly, and durable. I would recommend spraying it with a leather protectant a couple of times, however. It darkened the tan, and gave it a good protective coat.

looks nice but have to agree with the other reviewers that this one was not built to last. I have already had one rivet break, and by looking at the others, dont think this will be maintenance free.

I bought this for my husband who is an attorney for his birthday a few weeks ago. Not only was the price an amazing deal (more than half off) but the brief case was so much more than I expected. It was packaged carefully and included no indication that it was from Overstock. It came with original tags from Aston as well as an Aston NY cataloge. My husband loved the different compartments for his i phone, pens, business cards and paperwork, It was roomy enough for a lap top but not too big where it looks like a suit case. He went on and on about it all evening and got compliments at work on the style and appearance. You will NOT be discouraged with this purchase!

I bought this for my son's birthday. He said he liked it, but he has yet to use it. He did request a new briefcase as a gift. We selected it together on the internet. I think it looks nice on the outside but we selected the one with only two inside compartments. That seems to be the mistake. It is very nice, but not as spectacular as the other reviewers led us to believe.

I bought it for my husband to use at work. He loves it. It's sturdy, looks good and holds everything he needs for his meetings with clients.

My husband loves the bag , I just hope the clasps don't give out. I wish the buckles were real and not just for show.

Looking to replace a leather briefcase I finally wore out after 12 years, I am incredibly pleased with quality and appearance of this product. The construction is solid, very nice leather, at a great price. It is hard to find a true briefcase that is not a laptop carrier. This is much better than almost everything I looked at locally at half the price. I am very pleased- the delivery was exceedingly prompt as well.

I bought this for my PhD student husband as a Christmas gift and I can't wait to give it to him. The leather smells wonderful and it looks like good quality. I only wish the latches were real buckles and not slide clasps.

This is a great case for the money paid here at Overstock.com. Beefy leather with rugged, but stylish hardware. My large laptop fits perfectly and I still have room for lots of laptop attachments and papers. It's 'oversized', but still the right size to carry on the plane. I'm very satisfied.
