I have been using this bag everyday for a little more than a month, and I must say this bag is just great. There are many pockets (open & with zippers) for cd's, business cards, cell phones and deep pockets for documents. I needed the room for my laptop charger that I carry in the bag so the removable laptop cushion is out. I also am glad that the strap is not leather as this would be destroyed in time. Due to the wear of rubbing on your shoulder and the weight of the items in the bag they made the strap meaty. The leather is soft to the hand and has a wonderful aroma when first taken out of the box. Overall the bag looks sleek and has a great look. The white stitching didn't bother me when I looked at the pictures, and in fact I am glad now it does have some minor color. Do not waste your money at retail shops or some type of discount stores. You will not find a nicer, better qualtiy or better looking bag for the price. I have been using laptop style bags for years and I must say this is the best, especially when factoring the value. I needed a new bag as I was beginning to get a pinched nerve in my back and shoulder area from travels with a heavy bag with laptop and files for work. I searched for shoulder friendly bags, but also needed a bag that would look professional. Very happy with this bag. Works well carried conventionally or messenger style. Sufficient room in the bag for a few files, my 17" Dell M90 fits easily (after you throw away the cushioned protector) with power adapter, and is a true uni-s ex bag. Looks professional but not feminine, which was my biggest concern in ordering the bag on-line.

To put it simply, its a great looking bag and it was big enough for my wife and all her books, she's started up school again. And she loves it. Marc

This is a gorgeous bag my husband got to carry his laptop and other work stuff around. It is really beautiful and looks like it would cost 3 times as much as it did. My only complaint is that it's bulkier than it appears in the photo. At first I thought it looked a little funny, but now that he's had it a while it's sort of breaking in and softening down so that it doesn't look quite so big. I'd say for a woman it might seem quite oversized, but for a bigger taller guy you would really love it.

This is a great bag. Roomy, lots of pockets. Nice leather, well constructed. Good looking too. My husband uses it for school and gets lots of compliments. It holds several college books, notebooks, calculator, ipod, pens, etc. Also would work for a laptop. I'd recommend this one.

I bought the light brown bag for my husband's birthday and he loved it. He is a teacher and rides his bike to school, and the bag fits everything he needs in the classroom. The bag even has a separate removable part in the middle as extra protection for a laptop. The look is very professional but more unique than the standard black laptop case/briefcase. This bag was given to me as a gift. I wanted a dressier bag for school, and a nice everyday bag once I graduate and enter the professional world. This bag caught my eye because of the terrific reviews but also because of the price. My fiancée bought it for me for Christmas and it arrived just in time. I have used it almost daily since 1/1/12 and this review is being written on 5/16/12. With over 5 months of nearly daily use it isn't showing a single sign of wear. The bag is a perfect size to carry my laptop (which is a a thicker laptop), plus 2-4 books, depending on the thickness of book (my average book is maybe 1 1/2" at the spine). The front pockets (under the flap) are big enough to hold the charger, plus a bag of cough drops, tissues, maybe a travel thermos. The zippered pouch is perfect for pens, etc. The only complaint I have is that the side pockets (for a thermos, water bottle, etc.) could have been a little larger. I could barely get my thermos (a fairly small thermos, maybe 3" diameter) in the pocket. It fit, but it took some force. I'd buy this bag again. If it stays at the reduced price (when it was bought it was on sale for $**), buy two! It's a perfect gift for a college grad who is about to head into the workforce. You cannot go wrong with this bag!

I wanted a bag to replace my previous leather bag of many years. It had fallen apart from carrying too many books. I liked the look of the Woody Messenger Bag and decided to try it out. The bag is excellent quality and has many compartments for various things. I carry a lot of books and my iPad in the main area. Various other compartments hold electronic accessories, writing utensils and everyday stuff. I like the nice wide shoulder strap and the handle option as well. No complaints. Great bag!

I have been using this as a school and work bag for the last few weeks and it is perfect. It's the right size, and it's very professional-looking. I've gotten several compliments on it already. I wish the strap was leather or maybe a little more padded (although it has plenty of give), but those are my only complaints.

I bought this bag for my senior year in college, as i plan to continue using it when i enter the workforce, and lets face it, you cant use a backpack for everything, especially as a business major. I must say i was impressed with the quality of the material, and well as how much it allows me to carry ( i regularly carried two textbooks, notebooks, and my tablet.) It has not shown any wear, is rather comfortable, even when fully loaded. I am certainly pleased with this purchase

I purchased this bag for my boyfriend who wanted a bag for his computer but not a briefcase. He loves it and receives compliments on it often. It's very roomy with a lot of compartments, and I love that it comes with a padded case for his laptop. I only wish that the over the shoulder strap was a little longer. My boyfriend is 6' 3" and it would look a little nicer hitting him lower on the leg. Still would recommend this bag!!

This is a very large, spacious bag. It comes with a spongy filled insert made for protecting your laptop. I found this to be a little too small for my laptop, but the rest of the bag is great! The strap can be made shorter or longer, there are plenty of inside pockets to keep yourself organized, and it's very sturdy.

Bought it for my husband 3-4 years ago and typically he destroys things in some way or other. (He really should be a product tester) He uses this for work and college. It is exposed to the elements daily as he rides a scooter. Although it's leather, he doesn't see the need to protect it from the rain and surprisingly enough it is still holding up through all the rain storms. Excellent workmanship. Only signs of aging are some wear marks which are to be expected.

Very nice bag. Lots of pockets. Looks good. However, the straps on the buckles, were too tight to buckle when the bag was packed.
