The brown one I received is in a dull, milk chocolate brown. The color is uneven; there are patches of slightly different shades of brown. Since it's shipped in a flat box no more than 2 inches high, the bag is wrinkled by the time it arrives. The uneven color and the wrinkles give the bag a distress look. The "hardwares" are plastic. The bag smells like leather and has a genuine leather tag attached to it. The two zippered pockets at the end are gusseted, so contents won't fall out. There is a zippered pocket inside the main compartment in addition to the one of the outside front. The total length of the bag is 13 inches. The two pockets at the ends are about 1.5 inches each, so that leaves the main compartment to be about 10 inches long. The shoulder strap is about 31 inches long. It could be used as a satchel style handbag. Overall it's a good value and functional if this is the size you're looking for.

This is a very handy item for travelling. This bag is large enough to hold many items but small enough to fit easily under the seats in airplanes. Just what I needed. In this way, your personal items are only a arms length away for easy access. Leather looks good and shoulder strap also adds to its convenience.

This duffel bag is just what I was looking for. I have enough room for my Franklin appointment book, my palm, my cell phone, my wallet and my keys in the main compartment. The two side pockets for accessories. When I leave for work in the morning, I pick up one thing and go. I'ts a keeper.

Not great leather but for the price it's perfect. Great for travelilng- will hold a paperback, sunglasses, hat, and tightly folded change of clothes, in case you get seperated from your luggage at the airport. Gave one as a gift and my friend uses it often and says she likes it very much.

This bag is perfect for daily work commute. Holds everything and has outside pockets for wallet, etc, so you needn't dig into the bag itself. The side pockets are generous sized. I am very happy with this bag because when I purchase an item, I have no need to dig around inside the bag - everything is within easy reach. I recommend it.

This is a really nice bag; all features are as advertised; my only dissapointment was that the photo of the bag is misleading, it's a lot shorter than the photo makes it appear. Be sure to measure out 13 inches before you buy.

The duffle I received actually measured 14." Like EVERY APC leather product I've ever ordered from Overstock, I found it to be well made and feature packed. Want a comparison on value, price out a NYLON duffle at your local big box store. To those surprised at the size, try measuring out 13" X 7" X 7" with a yardstick so your brain can comprehend the dimensions before you complain. This bag is accurately described.

I was looking for a small leather bag and this fit the purpose. I use it as my camera bag and it is very sturdy. I can also use it as an overnight bag. Very pleased.

If you have a use for a quite small (pay attention to the dimensions in the product description) leather duffel, this is for you, While the leather is not "designer" quality, it is excellent for the price. Plus, the bag is well constructed with (most importantly) very good zippers. Highly recommended!

This product is just what I have been looking for. I use it as a purse/tote as I have a 35 minute commute and not enough time to home at lunch. I carry all of what I need and more! It is just the right size. I would like to have had metal rings and clasps and a little bit longer shoulder strap but overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Real leather and good value. I use this duffel bag to carry the car cleaning supplies when traveling to car shows. It just fits in the small cubby hole in the hatch area. Could use in the motorcycle real well, too.

I love this little duffel bag. It is pretty small but it will be nice for what I wanted it for. I bought it to use it to haul my small video equipment around in. I do agree with one of the other reviewers on how they should of used metal zipper accessories instead of plastic but that does'nt really bother me that much. The leather looks to me like it is really good quality and the color of the bag is accurate to what the picture shows it to be. Overall, I really like this bag. I ended up liking it so much that I ordered another one to use as a nice workout bag.

I love it!, it is very roomy, great looking bag I am super happy with it, but the accesories, should be "brass" instead of plastic, but other than that, it is great looking bag.

Like the one of the other commenting individuals I too measured the size of this bag but it STILL turned out much smaller that I thought it would. The leather is subtle and good quality and the bag overall is a nice gym bag. Only problem I have with it is the small size. Room enough for a towel, water bottle and gloves though. What else do you need?
