Amerileather Black Leather Business Case

We purchashed this in September. The strap is falling apart and the clip has broken. It says it is leather, but it is just wrapped in a very thin layer and so it peels apart and falls off easily. The space is good, but the wear and tear is HORRIBLE!!

It's roomy without looking bulky, and well constructed. Good quality leather and sturdy zippers. The padded nylon laptop sleeve and travel case are a definite bonus. Great product for a good price.

I bought this because of the great reveiws it got and the fact that it had tons of pockets/compartments, BIG mistake! I've only had it a few weeks and the leather is already starting to peel off! I travel a lot for work and was looking for something that would stand up to being stuffed under airplane seats and I only used the bag for one trip and the leather is peeling off and the yellowish color underneath is not attractive. I would NOT recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality product!

I've had this briefcase for 6 years now and use it for extended business trips about 6 times a year. For the money it has been very servicable. However, the carry handles are beginning to spilt where they're sown to the case and tear away from the case. The shoulder strap clip broke after about 10 business trips (I was able to have it repaired) and now the shoulder strap seams are beginning to shred and split, so time for a new one. If you're a daily user the case handles and shoulder strap may wear out sooner.As far as space goes, this has plenty and will take a large laptop. I've jammed everything I need into this case, files, laptop, brochures, notebook, books, PDA, cell phone, GPA, wallet, a bottle of water and even a small purse at times and the zippers have held up just fine. The front pockets are roomy, but don't have a lot of organizer slots, so sometimes I have to search for things. When it's not jammed full, the file compartment collapes down a bit and the case appears slimmer. The only thing i wished this had was strap on the back to slide it over a roling luggage handle, so I won't be buying another one.
