For the money, I don't think you can beat this bag! The leather is beautiful and soft with a nice feel and shine. Has the usual space and compartments for a bag of this size, with the added feature of a handy organizer in the middle pocket for pens, pencils and other business necessities. Bag appears to be well made and a real steal at this price.

Can't understand why some (few) reviewers were disappointed with the leather bag! The dimensions given were accurate. The quality of the leather proved to be terrific. I use it as a gym bag and for overnights. It's handy, classy, and well-made. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I had a very similar bag that was vinal and had used it for 10 yrs or more. I used it for work every day and for travel as an on board bag which fit under the seat perfectly even though it was filled to the max. Finally it fell apart so I wanted a new one but in leather for durability. I saw this one on the web but was sceptical of the quality because of the price. This bag is great! The leather is thick and has a great finish to it, this thing will last forever. Great deal, I may buy another one for myself or as gift.

I purchased this bag as a gift. When it arrived, I inspected it. It looked like a more expensive bag. It was roomy and had compartments to help organize the different things you would want to take with you. The dual zipper worked well and allowed access to the entire contents that would be inside. A great buy for the money.

Very nice product. The only thing I don't like is the double zipper on top, but I can see the reason for it. It fits well in the overhead of small airplanes. A good value for the money, very well made.

This bag has been solid for me so far; I've taken it on 4 flights, and it's nothing short of perfect. As far as price-return, this bag is definitely worth the 40 dollars.

I was very pleased with this duffel--lots of pockets with zippers--beautiful leather and it smelled like it too! It is very sturdy. Just the right size.

This duffle is top notch. My wife has a bag that is not as versitile or as well made, but was $200. My only complaint is that I didn't find this bag 10 years ago. I use it everyday. Do yourself a favor...buy it ! You will not be disappointed.

My husband has had the same duffel for over twenty years, and it has become worn and threadbare. Unfortunately he has also been very reluctant to replace it because of sentimental value. Bought this bag in the burgundy color for my grandaughter the day she was inducted into the Navy, (06/27/01). Gave it to her the day it arrived (07/02/01) she fell in love w/ it, she's ready to start packing now!!, even tho she can't go til next June!! I believe the description said it was full size but I thought it was smaller than that, would have given it a 5* rating if it was the larger size. However, I still want to thank you for the great savings and the super fast delivery.

Bought this one first in hopes of it working for my boyfriend for a gym bag. Then found the Piel Leather which was a bit more but totallly worth it. This is a 6/10 stars and the Piel was 9/10....the Piel had nice feel, thicker leather, better zippers and more room (higher in size) so we opted for the Piel. This is a good bag but the Piel was much nicer. Would still recommend this.

I carry my lunch box, two thermoses of coffee, whatever book I'm reading, a flashlight, and more odds 'n ends than I can mention in this bag. Being leather, it has the flexibility to hold everything. I'd be lost without it!
