You get what you pay for. The material is noticeably Fake Leather. The case itself is very stiff. If you are looking at the TAN, know that the color is much lighter then the picture depicts. It really does come with the letters [APC] on the front which looks to me like they were meant to be the previous owners initials instead of a LOGO or Brand Name - (I dont like that nor can I figure out what it stands for). There is a lot of room in this case and it seems to be assembled nicely. Overall, I would have returned it had I not needed to PAY for return shipping. Decided to cut my losses and keep it. Now that Im using it, its not so bad, but it is something that I settled with.

I needed a locking case for files I carry around. I didn't want the attache style because it's masculine and because it takes up room when you lay it down to open and retrieve files from it. This Executive Leatherette briefcase stands up so it takes up little space, then all I have to do is pull from it the files. It's easy to find the files I want because they are vertical, and not piled on top of each other as they would be in an attache case. I also carry my laptop in it. It's not padded, but I'm ok with that because I only occasionally carry my laptop. I love the 3 sections, the leatherette is very real looking. It is sturdy. I love using the shoulder strap. And it locks! Great value and exactly like the description and the photo.
