Your Dress Shirts Will Love It
I often fly on business trips and was looking for a way to transport my dress shirts and suits without having to constantly iron them upon arrival. After looking at inadequate and overpriced brands at various department stores, I took a chance with this 26" American Flyer. The main compartment includes a mechanism to lock in hangers. As long as the hanger wire is thin (like you get at the dry cleaners), it works pretty well. Since the luggage is sized to the maximum of what's allowed by the airlines, the width of the main compartment is sufficient for most shirts and jackets. The height is not enough to literally hang the shirts (not that you would want them freely hanging inside anyway). Instead, the bottom of the shirts is secured with a horizontal belt as they take a 90 degree turn. I have tried it on my most recent trip and all my clothes arrived in a perfect condition! Once you start using the main compartment for dress shirts, you can't use it for anything else. If you add something like shoes, they will move around and press against the dress shirts. Besides the main compartment, there are two stretch pockets and two small triangular pockets in the corners with a zipper. There are also four zipped pockets on the outside. Again, my main problem was that none of them would fit an extra pair of shoes or sneakers. If you don't use it for dress shirts, it's VERY large, but then you can probably find cheaper luggage with more convenient compartments. The luggage is very easy to move. The wheels freely spin in all directions. Sometimes it actually moves at a slight angle. Not sure how long the wheels will last, as I only used on one trip. So far it has successfully survived 4 different airports, 4 planes, rain, snow and ice.

Sturdy and spacious
The American Flyer Elite Quattro 26-inch Spinner Wardrobe is not for the casual traveler. It is a "wardrobe" not just a suitcase. It is quite large and holds enough clothing for a ten day to two week trip. Great for a cruise, train or car travel. Great for a business traveler who needs to arrive with cloths ready to grab from the case to wear. This wardrobe can easily be overloaded, exceeding weight maximums for flying. Then again, if you are a frequent flyer, overage fees are sometimes waived, and it is still less than checking a second piece of lugage. The wardrobe is VERY sturdy. Though I have only used it once I am very pleased with the evident quality of the case. It rolls like a dream. Any frequent traveler knows of the hassle of poor castors on luggage. You won't have that problem with this piece. I love the expandable pouches making room for the inevidable paperwork or purchases I tend to end up with. I found it prefferable to use a couple of shoe bags, not included, to hold an extra pair of dress shoes and some tennis shoes. I purchased mine in red so it would stand out from the many black pieces winding down the conveyor. The red does indeed stand out, as does the size. Easy to spot. Love it. Would recommend this to any serious and frequent traveler.

great piece of luggage - BIG - so hopefully I will not go over my 50 lb baggage allowance packing it. Very good quality though.

This piece of luggate holds more items than any piece of luggage I ever had. It features wheels that turn 360 degrees on a dime, a must for any luggage. It also has ample compartments to pack those last minute item. A real value.
