This carry-on worked fabulously for me this weekend. Navigating the airport was much easier with this case compared to other wheeled uprights I've used before. Being able to move it forward or behind me, tipped or on four wheels was a much bigger advantage than I expected. I had no problems getting it in the overhead compartment.

The carry on upright is elegant and spacious with clean lines. I used it once for an overseas travel. It seems to repel dust and dirt, for a color that is stark black and the fabric finish stayed intact. Handle works the way it is described, quite innovative. I am hoping the handle and the zippers remain durable as it gets used repeatedly.

I purchased the American Flyer Quattro Elite 21-inch Carry-on mainly because of its size. I wanted a four-wheel carry-on that I could take on a plane and attempt to do away with ever having to check another piece of luggage. I recently took a 20-inch carry-on (two wheeled) to Europe for two weeks. That, and a fairly good-sized purse and I was set. What I wanted was something just a tad larger and the Quattro seemed to fit that. Once it arrived I set it right next to the 20-inch one and was very surprised to see how much larger and taller it was. Could one inch really make that much difference?? The Quattro sits a good two and a half inches off the floor because of the wheels. This extra length has me concerned that it wouldn't fit in one of those sizers the airlines have to determine if a piece falls within its carry-on requirements. The piece is also deeper which could be a nice feature for packing, obviously, but might limit its carry-on ability. It lacks a magazine slot on the outside and the manufacturer could have easily added this. The strap for carrying another piece of luggage is, in my humble opinion, ludicrously attached INSIDE the front zippered pocket. Meaning, one has to unzip the pocket and attach another piece of luggage or purse. Leaving the zipper partially open to continue. The strap is connected to the back of the pocket which is covered in a nice paisley print. They've reinforced the strap connection, but it's not made of the durable outside material and I don't see this feature lasting a long time if used regularly. I love the four-wheel maneuverability and its angled handle, although the latter seems a bit loose when changing the angles. The piece is also heavier than expected and, once packed, may be a problem for a woman to lift it into an overhead bin. I've yet to use this carry-on to prove or disprove my concerns. These are just what I noticed from taking it out of its box. Time and my future trips will tell!

This is a beautiful suitcase and has been on two trips with me. Very elegant interior, nicely arranged. Plus this bag is so simple to pull through an airport. All 4 wheels pivot and the handle mechanism is flexible for all heights.
