I bought this backpack about three years ago, I have used it daily except on dressy occasions. Very strong, durable and fashionable. I stuffed it to no end and want to purchase the same backpack again. After three years a support strap broke, I never expected it to last this long. Would be nice to have a combination of brown and black shades on the same backpack or multi-shades. Great backpack...

I always use a backpack instead of a purse because they are just more comfortable. Unfortunately they are not so easy to come by especially for a woman and everyday use. This is a great backpack. It has plenty of room inside and I like the different outside pockets. It is also lightweight. A big plus for me was the cell phone holder on the side and the front lower zip pocket holds my itouch nicely. One caveat is that I wish the top zipper pocket on the front was half the size. The pocket goes all the way down which makes whatever you put in it go to the bottom and it can be a bit bulky. Hence the 4 stars. But for the money this is a great leather backpack for everyday use. Definitely recommend.

I recently purchased the leather backpack. I'd been looking for a while in the stores and everything I found was more expensive. This is very roomy and attractive. I did buy it because it was leather. The only negative is that the strap is not leather. It's pretty obvious. Overall a good buy.

My daughter loved this bag, as it was a Christmas gift. It is soft, comfortable to wear and perfect for all her things. I would recommend this particular bag for anyone looking at this style bag. It was a very good value as well!

I love this backpack which I use as a pocketbook. I can walk around all day and not get a sore shoulder like I used to get from a heavy shoulder bag. I was very impressed with the ease of ordering and quick receiving from Overstocks.

Since I got this bag, I have used it everyday! I think it's great and the side zipper makes it so easy to get things out while keeping it on my shoulder. Plus, I've gotten compliments on it too.

I bought this bag & while a good value for the current price (I paid more than this), it's top strap design did not hold up to daily wear and tear. After approximately 3 months of daily use, the straps detached from the bag itself.

I really just think I got the lemon. I bought this bag for a recent out of the country trip. The idea of an over the shoulder/backpack bag sounded great. When it arrived there were threads that needed to be trimmed and the leather smell was so strong I had to leave it outside on my front porch for for several days. It fit great in my suitcase but the first time I used it, the zipper broke and the bag was useless.

I use it every day - stuffed with a small waterbottle, wallet, DayRunner and a few other essentials. My cell phone has its own pocket. It is the perfect size for what I need. The straps are comfortable, the leather is really nice. The only drawback is the area where the body of the purse is joined to the straps - a hood of leather lays over the area, but the hood is not sewn on firmly - it lifts and moves so you can see the messy stitching. This should have been firmly enclosed to protect the raw edges. I also wish there was a zipper on the pocket that is on the back of the purse. There is only a 1-inch strip of velcro. I need to be careful so that it doesn't damage the leather from constant pulling. Otherwise - this is a great purse for the price! I wish they had other colors.
