OK, we who travel by air know what IS important these days, since airlines have found a new way of "downsizing our wallets" (to be delicate and printable. These are lightweight compared to traditional suitcases. The quality is not that of a hard-sided suitcase, but then since we do not have private/corporate jets it is, again, the weight that matters. When packing normal type items like clothing, a cosmetic/shaving case thwey seem OK. I will let you know.
OK, the BIGGEST problem in my opinion. Since 9/11 most intelligent people know that there is a T.S.A., T.S.A. officers and T.S.A regulations. Am I correct? Hopefully, since I do my best to comply even if I do not fully like this. ONE of the regulations states that you must have COMPLIANT LOCKS on your baggage, or it may be damaged when inspected (I have seen bags which were non-compliant and checked ... whoah). Anyway could someone PLEASE explain to me why a company like A. Saks (or EWS Incentives, Inc. NY) sell luggage for air travel with locks which are NOT T.S.A. COMPLIANT? I asked them, but they did not reply. What is the point of selling items which are ALMOST against the law? And then what happens if someone does not cjeck, leaves for the airport for a trip to London, PAris or Tel Aviv and at his/her destination finds that their luggage has been damaged for this simple reason? On the other hand maybe there is a reason for this? I wonder.
Anyway, I WANTED YOU TO KNOW.
HAve a safe and pleasant trip. By the way, OVERSTOCK was perfect, definitely not THEIR fault.
- How accurate was the sizing? +/-
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Average, but then weight is important these days.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Will update after my first international trip.
