I previously used a Samsonite Oyster suitcase which i loved until the baggage handlers at the airport broke one of the the wheel's off of it.They are the reason I won't spend a lot of money on luggage, because they are going to break whatever you have anyway.Having said that, this suitcase is pretty good, but already the baggage handlers have busted it as well. (Did I mention I travel a lot?) But it has retained it's shape and I think i can put some epoxy on the place they broke it and it will be OK. The main thing I guess is the wheels are still working and the handle will still come up and go down. The suitcase looks great. It's a Hey's knockoff and looks just like one and cost a fraction of the price of one.Bottom line, if you want value in a hardside, this is as good as it gets, if not, then spend the money to buy a Heys, but I don't think it would last any longer.

I bought this because I needed new luggage for a trip that was up and coming. I received it fairly quickly, which was a plus. I used it last weekend on my trip to Canada. The luggage was a great size. I definitely recommend this set!!

Moves with ease and very roomy. Very well constructed piece with a padded lining inside. Great case for longer trips. Be careful with the size though. This one is very big, so you have to be very careful not to exceed the weight limit of most airlines.

Every Traveler's Choice case I've bought has been built solidly and held up to abuse. I have 3 different sizes that I use when traveling and haven't had any problems yet. I recommend these based on their reasonable price and resiliency to abuse. Stay away from Heys. The zipper pulls will break and the cases will crack. I had a set of Heys before TC and will never look back.

Great quality and value. The suitcase is well constructed. The wheels seem to be safe from the abuse they have to take at the airport baggage! It's also very easy to spot in baggage pick up! Very happy with the purchase, that I bought the 25" too!

I needed to replace an old, torn soft-sided suitcase and wanted something with the following qualities: 1)hardsided; 2) spinner wheels; 3) durable; and 4) cool looking / easily recognizable at baggage claim. This bag fits the bill on all counts. I was told many times during my last trip how pretty my luggage is and I had NO trouble finding it at the airport. I purchased this 29" bag and a matching 21" piece. Love them both. [TIP: DO NOT BUY LUGGAGE WITHOUT SPINNER WHEELS! They make travel so much easier!!]

This is a really "fun" piece of luggage. Should be easy to spot in the airport. We usually pick out unusual cases to make them easy to spot. This should bring lots of funny comments too.

I bought this product for an upcoming trip and although it did not fall apart, it is not very sturdy. The outside zipper is pretty flimsy as are the inside zippers. When I opened the suitcase to fill it, the lid was wobbling; I thought it was going to come off of the hinges and the lining of the suitcase is cheaply made. Additionally, once the suitcase is full and heavy with clothing, it is difficult to move around (I had a computer case to deal with in the airport; NOT FUN!!!). I have probably had this product too long to return it; but buyer beware! DO NOT purchase this product, it is not what you think it is and is grossly overpriced!

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to buy two 29 inch Spinner Hardsde luggage, for traveling across country. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the smell... No one mentioned this! I have aired them out, ect., but find that to be a big issue! I am concidering returning both pieces.

Nothing special with the quality. But the dog design is really cut and different than all other suitcases.

I wanted and needed a 29" wheeled lightweight piece of luggage for a trip to Germany this spring. After much researching, I found this particular brand on Overstock. Between the price and its' features, it cannot be beat. The dark navy color is great and distinguishes it from all the black luggage out there especially on a baggage claim belt. I am packed, under the weight limit and ready to go!

I was looking for super light luggage and was surprised when found this Wenger Swiss Gear Expandable Lightweight 28-inch Spinner Upright Luggage with the weight 4.8 lb. When I got it the weight was 4.8 kg which means almost 10lb.

I needed lite weight spinner luggage for air travel. I should have reviewed the luggage requirements prior to ordering. I had to return the 29" and ordered the 24". Excellent!!

I bought two of these luggages, one in 25-inch and one in 29-inch. They are really eyecatchers, so easy to spot at baggage claim. I suggested them in a fashion forum and wondered if that's one of the reasons caused the item sold out.

I gave this as a gift and the recipient loved it. It was beautiful and bright, never to be missed at the airport. We especially liked that is was expandable. The luggage looked like it was well made and was big and roomy. I purchased the 29" and the 21" pieces.

I purchased this 28 inch four wheel upright about 5 months ago. I've used it for one international trip and three U.S. trips and the suitcase is falling apart. I was thrilled initially with the amount of room this hardside allowed and it's overall light weight. However, the connecting section beyond the zippers is not sufficiently secured and on my case has burst apart. There is a very thin fabric gasket which it seems was not secured completely to the top and botton of the case opening and has come loose. Beyond the gasket there is a thin styrofoam sheet. I'm very disappointed with the case's performance. Also, the hardcase does not fair well with air travel. Each trip has result in more scarring and marking on my silver case. If you decide to get this case be sure to also buy the insurance because you'll need it!

It is well designed and very sturdy even when jam packed to the limit. I bought this 29 case and went back and forth domestically with it and it held up beautifully. I brought a lot of books with me on my trip, but it didn't exceed the 50 lbs weight limit. This is the best feature of suitcase this size.

I'd been looking for a suitcase into which I could place my Lendrum DT spinning wheel. It folds in half for travel, but is too big for an overhead bin. So I needed a suitcase which could withstand reasonable pounding without damaging the wheel. The previous gold-standard was a Samsonite Oyster that's no longer available (except at thrift shops or the like), so I began searching for an alternative, and chose this Traveler's Choice 28-inch upright. It felt flimsy, as do all these new lightweight suitcases, but with the addition of some mattress foam cut to fit and more padding around my wheel, it made the trip cross country twice without damage. I did invest in a suitcase belt as this suitcase closure is just a zipper (and I wanted the thing to remain closed, even if it "popped" open in handling). Worked great, and held not only my Lendrum, but its lazy kate, extra bobbins, and a whoooole bunch of fiber. :)
