This ring has a brilliant silver shine, and there are no notable flaws. There is a slight join mark, but you'd have to be looking for it to see it (the join is off by about half a millimeter). I have a similar silver ring, slightly oxidized and in a higher gauge. The slightly higher gauge version is more attractive because the features are more visible (especially with the contrast provided by oxidation), but the high shine of this silver ring is somewhat more feminine, and more appropriate for formalwear (though you might consider a version in white gold for a formal event).

This is a simple, inexpensive ring that I put in my daughter's Christmas stocking. She liked it although she felt it ran a bit large; I ordered the size 7. Happy with the purchase, the speed of shipping and the packaging.
