The necklace is a nice gift for young girls. However, I don't know if I would have purchased it if I knew the "Best Friend" inscription was in black lettering instead of silver like the picture. I'm not sure if this was mentioned in other reviews; maybe I didn't read enough of them.

This necklace is exactly what I wanted to give my best friend who is going away to college.The charms add alittle individualizm to the necklace, and makes it different from the other standard best friends necklaces. This necklace also is great quality, I just wish it was thick enough to have our names engraved on the back. But all in all this is a great product.
