This ring is perfect. It is dainty and the detail really shines. I have shorter fingers and it's the prefect ring if you have smaller hands. Shipping was fast! Sizing is pretty good, maybe runs a quarter size big. I normally wear a 7 and it's a tad bit looser than the other rings I've ordered. The stone is totally real looking, big enough to be noticeable in the ring but not large enough to look fake. I honestly can not believe how beautiful this ring is. I'm wearing it as a stand in for an engagement ring until we have the money, but wanted something believable. Looks like an antique...order it if you're looking at it. I'm happy I did.
I was slightly skeptical after reading the reviews. It was either a 5 or a 1 for various reasons, but I took a chance and I couldn't be happier! The sparkle is wonderful, the sterling silver bright and perfect and the size was spot on. The photo really doesn't do the ring justice at all and the concerns some people had about the weight of the sterling silver doesn't seem to be a problem for me at all as it has a nice weight to it. A wonderful fashion ring and I love the little vintage touch it adds to my wardrobe!
It doesn't matter what this ring is made of --it is beautiful. It has a sophisticated vintage charm that works well for every day sparkle or out on the town bling. The ring fits comfortably on my finger and fits true to size. The detailed gallery and understated bezel setting enhance the "real" factor. No one knows it isn't a diamond set in white gold and I don't disabuse them of the notion. The ring was at my house in two days and I have been wearing it ever since. This is my second ring purchase from overstock. I love shopping with overstock because I can always find small beautiful rings in my size (5). This ring is WELL worth the money...I spend more on coffee in a week.
I had a dickens of a time trying to get the right size. I followed the on-line directions on how to measure but did not have any luck. I'd asked for some help in figuring out the correct ring size being I couldn't get it right. Nobody ever got back to me except to say I would be getting a credit on my card.
This ring is quite lovely, looks very antique with lots of filigree and milgrain detail. The center stone is small enough to look believable, but big enough to give some sparkle. It is comfortable and the fit is perfect. The only negative is that one of the side stones was missing as soon as I took it out of the package. I looked to see if it had fallen out in the little plastic baggie, but no such luck. I will be sending back.
Is this RING stamped with .925? if not then its not really sterling silver.....please advise if it is stamped thanks!dianecos on Mar 26, 2014Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
I have had this ring for a couple years and I can't find anywhere that it is marked with .925 on it. I will say that it was initially too shiny when I first got it---but now it has a patina similar to an antique platinum ring---if you know what that looks like. I love how "flat" it is & how it doesn't ever catch on anything. I wear it anytime I don't want to wear my real ring and still have a wedding ring on. I wash dishes etc. and it has never tarnished or un-plated. I am very pleased with the quality for the dollars spent on it. (I hope this helps you even though I don't see the.925 mark on it.)vinniesgrandma on Mar 27, 2014
I've had this ring for a couple of years, also and just love it. Whether it's real silver or just silver-plated, I'm not sure, but like the other reviewer, I seldom take mine off and it's never turned my finger green or anything. I've received so many compliments on this ring.kickwheel on Mar 28, 2014
I have only worn this ring for a month but I have had zero problems with it. The finish is pretty bright, granted, but if it were only silver plated it would have tarnished on me by now. I don't know what it is but I can't wear anything "plated", no matter what the sellers claim about it (believe me, I've tried them all). I can't even use metal knitting needles and have to use platinum cross stitch needles because I manage to tarnish them within hours. Stamped or not, I believe it is sterling silver.jenid72 on Mar 30, 2014
Yes it is. It is located inside the band. Not that hard to see.mcharris on Mar 31, 2014
Mine is marked very faintly in very fine letters S925.dlanglois99 on Apr 12, 2014
THIS IS A STERLING SILVER RING AND IS BEAUTIFUL.b9711 on Apr 13, 2014
I have had this ring for a year and it must be sterling because I have never had to clean the metal. It has held up beautifully!jlmail on Jun 14, 2014
Both my rings are stamped very clearly 925lulu69268 on Jun 17, 2014
Yes, it is .925. I've gotten lots of compliments on it and I never let on it's not real.q5329 on Jul 23, 2014
Hi, I just recently bought this ring and just now looked inside and yes mine is stamped S925 so it is sterling silver. I love this ring. It is beautiful and delicate looking. I hope this helps.ams122160 on Jul 26, 2014
I bought this ring about 2 years ago and let my granddaughter have it. She has worn it ever since and it still looks like the day it arrived. I just ordered one for myself...waiting on it now.emmonshill on Sep 7, 2014
What is the size of the main stone? One review says about 1/2 carat. It seems larger??jamdar5 on Jul 23, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
The center stone on this ring is 5 millimeters wide. Cubic zirconia stones are not measured in carats.overstockcustomercare1 on Jul 24, 2012
I have this ring, and I thin 1/2 carat would seem fairly accurate.pamhal on Apr 19, 2013
Half carat sounds about right. It is not 'in your face' big, but big enough.blingjonzin on May 22, 2013
I think it's certainly no more than half a carat. It doesn't seem flashy.toots888 on Jun 4, 2013
The main stone regardless of what the size says is in perfect proportion with the rest of the ring. Not to large.snooper2 on Jun 29, 2013
The stone probably looks larger in the photo, anyway, or because of the outer square in which it's set and the filigree edging around the square. Unless you have super dainty, small fingers, the size is just perfect. I've had the ring for a couple of years and have received many compliments on it. People think it is an heirloom.kickwheel on Mar 31, 2014
My wife expressed that she really likes this ring. Unfortunately she wears a 7 1/2 ring size. How are the rings sizing on this ring?mjnmike on Jul 18, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Sterling can be sized. Buy an eight as it is easier to remove than add. A jeweler will charge about 20.00 to size the ring, Your other option would be to take a chance and try the size 7. The reviews seem to indicate it runs about a quarter size largeoverstockcustomercare1 on Jul 18, 2012
I wear a 7 and a half. I got the 8. It's quite big.toots888 on Jun 4, 2013
The sizing is precise in my opinion.mrspenny on Jun 7, 2013
My wedding band is a 7 1/2 but I bought this ring for my right hand in a size 7 and it fits great.snooper2 on Jun 29, 2013
