This watch is powered by the Tissot autoquartz movement, which means that mechanical energy (of the turning rotor) is transformed into electrical power by a micro-generator which recharges an accumulator. The accumulator, monitored by an electronic circuit, supplies power to the movement.
A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.
