Automatic movement winds with the movement of your arm. It is recommended that you wind the watch every two weeks.
A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.

Quality watch at a good price.
This is my third Tissot watch in 12 years. I bought it as a graduation gift for myself for getting my Master's. I really wanted an Omega watch, but was discouraged by paying $5,000 for another watch. Since Tissot, owned by Omega, has been good to me in the past I bought this watch and have not been disappointed. It's my first automatic watch and in true Tissot fashion keeps great time. My coworkers, friends, and family all commented on how nice it looks. I can't stress enough how great Tissot is in terms of quality and time accuracy.
