I have been craving a watch for the longest time, and finally gave in. This watch is the perfect size! I am 6'0" tall, and this watch is in perfect proportion to my wrist and body. Great looking and fitting product! Hope the battery lasts a while.

This is a great looking watch. Like how the indiglo button is on top now. The adjustable velcroe band is so comfortable. The band is padded.

good watch, for normal American Male, who doesn't care to impress with material items, wanted a timepiece for me, not for those I associate with to admire.

I have buying Timex Expedition watches for the past 15 years, and this one does not disappoint! Excellent fit and function. The vibration alarm works awesome...Can really feel the alarm and it is great for not bothering co-workers in meetings, etc. 3 times zones are great for those who do travel and easy to switch. I'd recommend to anyone.

I wanted a low profile, light-weight, running watch that did lots of laps and that is exactly what this is. If you have ever used a Timex Ironman watch then you know how reliable and simple that they are. This one has the same features with the same button placement as all of the others that I have owned, but I think that it is more streamlined and stylish than most of the others in the Ironman series. A super watch for the price.

This is the best sports watch I ever owned, and I have owned several over the past 25 years, including Timex Ironman watches. The wrist strap is very comfortable and adjusts to my size because of the many slots for he clasp to fit into, and the material of the strap is extremely durable as well. The digital face is very easy to read with large numbers which is great when glancing at it for a pace setting. All the functions; stopwatch, alarm settings, split times, and Indiglo lighting are easy to use with great placement of the buttons. For any athlete, this is a must buy!

I have had several Timex Ironman watches over the years. I always liked the Fastwrap style of watch bands but when the velcro starts to wear out they don't hold very well. That is what happened to my last watch however I didn't notice that it had fallen off and it was lost forever. When I looked for another Ironman I found this one. It had the typical clasp style of watchband which I wasn't sure I would like because it was made of a rubber material however I actually have come to LIKE the new style (to me) of band. It is secure, and stays where you put it, unlike the Fastwrap style of band which always was loosening up. At some point years from now when this watch wears out, I will replace it with a watch that has a similar style of clasp type band....another Ironman, of course....

The watch face is very readable but VERY BIG. The face of the watch is also VERY THICK. Feels very much like wearing a Garmin heart monitor watch. The tap feature is interesting but should in no way be a selling point. You either like the look of the watch or not and the tap is JUST a feature. It works but the practical nature of the feature is questionable as it is just as easy to push a button -- and pushing a button is often more successful. The band of this watch is also poorly designed and flimsy. The upside to the watch is that the actual face of the watch is very easy to read and looks great -- but again, this comes at the direct cost of having the VERY LARGE watch face. The alarms are great and there are 4 that can be set with different alarm tones. Overall, I should have sent the watch back as it it so big that it is difficult to fit under the cuff of a nice buttoned shirt. Would recommend going with the classic Timex Ironman watches with much smaller yest still readable displays.

I only buy Timex watches. I'm very picky that way, just because Timex watches stand up to the abuse I put them through and also, they still make analog watches. I don't like digital watches because they're usually too difficult to set and the various other functions are also a pain to set/change. So, I got my new black Timex Expedition and all was wonderful. It took me a few days to figure out how to set the date because I was too scared I'd break the stem or something! I really should know better. These watches are tough! The only complaint I have about my new watch is that the velcro band doesn't seem to want to stay attached! It is aggravating! Also, this is a men's watch and I'm a woman. I like men's watches/apparel because they look cooler and are oftentimes more durable than women's similar things. Well, this velcro band wouldn't fit a man's wrist and it doesn't fit my wrist! It's very tight, even when I loosen it a lot. Weird. That, and the velcro slipping thing are the only complaints I have about this otherwise fine watch. I have two other Timex Expedition watches that I don't use anymore because they're pretty banged up. I may try swapping out the less battered band on one of them for this slippy band. All in all, however, you can't fail with a Timex watch. The rugged Expedition series really is rugged. I wear mine in the ocean, rock climbing, swimming in a chlorine-filled pool, playing drums--I've hit the face of the watch with a drumstick and the watch is still going strong!

Poor quality control and junky case and band. I could not re-seat dislodged pin in case despite repeated efforts and the low quality materials weren't worth asking a watchsmith to help.
