I'm so glad I found a replacement!
I had this watch for about a year and a half, and put it through a lot of abuse, but I loved it. Unfortunately, the band had broken and it no longer stayed on. I'm so thrilled that I found a replacement in the same color :) It's perfect for what I use it for, and I love how lightweight it is.

Reliable
This is my 3rd Timex watch (same style) in 10 years. Pretty straight forward and has all the components that I was looking for (alarm, interval settings, split times, indiglo light). The reason why I've had to replace them were: dead battery after a few years and wasn't able to bring back to life after a new one was placed, the bands on the face came off the buttons (it still worked, but I kept on getting it hooked on things and was afraid to put it in water).

Enjoying my new watch
I did a lot of searching befoer I bought this watch. I wanted a button on the top for lap counts and a face that wasn't too large, since I'm female. I've used this watch about 1/2 dozen times in our local YMCA pool. It took me awhile to figure out the chrono lap feature because there are so many buttons. But I have a handle on it now. There were a lot of reviews on older models that said the watch leaked. Timex offers an extended 4 year warranty for $5.

I am very pleased with this watch. I wanted an affordable watch with a countdown timer and this is it. I have heard and had experience with timex watch bands not holding up, so I will see how long this one lasts. This watch is feminine yet with great features in a sports watch. I like it very much.

Just buy the watch
Love the open band—it keeps my wrist from getting sweaty. Even the beeps sound high-quality, and three alarms...ah, a busy mom's dream come true! I've owned a lot of digital watches and this is my favorite by far.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for a waterproof watch with a rubber band, as I swim laps with it and the nylon bands stay wet and smell after a while. My wrists are fairly small, so I often end up with a kids watch. So nice to find a small ladies watch in a fun color at a good price. And, with a little fiddling I was able to set, etc. without having to try to read the teeny printed directions.
