A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.
Automatic movement winds with the movement of your arm. It is recommended that you wind the watch every two weeks.

this watch is very pretty, my mom loves it! she wants a watch that is not that expensive but looks classy and she also wants an AUTOMATIC watch. it says in the description it is, so i bought it. i was in the Philippines and saw a timex store so i went in and check their prices - sure almost 50% higher. i asked them to check if the watch is automatic, the tech told me its not, i was not satisfied so i asked him to open it to see, and there we saw the battery. so i dont know how i did i understand about MOVEMENT : AUTOMATIC when they watch is really a QUARTZ. its a very nice watch but please correct your details for people like me who are not really into watches.

Good Watch
I had seen the watch in a department store and it cost a lot more. It fits great, and I use it at work and my hands are in water sometimes so far it has been great no problems.
