Timeless
The leather band is a very dark shade of brown, and can pass for black if that's important to you. Otherwise, it's a Timex... affordable, reliable, and the "Indiglo" back light is always a cool feature. I like the simplicity of the design, the Arabic numerals and the absence of rocket pilot dials and widgets. My only beef is that the hands, painted with luminous coating, have a silver trim that makes them a bit hard to see in lower light, but you can always press the stem for the back light when that happens. It may not garner the, "Hey, nice watch!" that some of my fancy (okay, rocket pilot) watches get, but it's a great watch for times when function outweighs form and you don't want to bang up a dress watch.

Great for an everyday watch.
I purchased this watch for everyday use. The band is a little darker than shown in the picture. It does not have a stainless steel face but hold up to nicks and dirt well. Overall a good buy for the price.

I am very impressed with this watch. I purchased it for my dad for his birthday. He is hard on watches so I needed something that could take a beating and keep ticking but still look great. The watch is beautiful in person, much better looking than it's internet picture. It is a substantial watch not small at all. The leather band and leather band keepers are a very very dark brown, soft leather with a lighter brown stiching. The face is light cream color( not white). I can see why some people mentioned that it would be hard to see the time because the hands are white and silver and close in color to the face. Over all this is a beautiful watch and I am more than satisfied. I'm sure my dad will love this watch too. It would look great on most men and not look like a cheep watch. I paid *** from Overstock.com

Very Nice Watch for the Price
Saw this watch on sale locally and liked its looks. Got it for about $10 less - including shipping - from Overstock. Good deal on a nice watch that looks really sharp. Seems to be very well built. I have two other Timex analog watches - one is over 15 years old and still working fine. Can't beat them for the money.
