Timex Men's Leather Strap Dress Watch

I ordered this watch during a christmas sale, and had in a few days. It is a great watch for someone who does not want to be spend hundreds or more on a watch.

My husband always jokes how when he was younger his timex always held up so I sort of bought this watch as a "haha" gift. Well wasn't I the one surprised when this watch arrived ... It's really really nice!!! It looks good because of the black face and he wound up loving it as his everyday watch... He likes it because he can see the numbers on it good cuz they are big and the hands glow and what I didn't realize is it lights up when u press the crown in to see at night which he says is great So I recommend this watch if your looking for something inexpensive and nice!

I needed a reasonably priced quartz watch that was formal looking. For the price this is a decent, average watch. The web image fails to indicate that the face is dark, small and busy, with glaringly shiny numbers. Also, the watch body is shinier in person than image indicates. But it gets comments, so perhaps I'm too harsh. Timex has better similar watches in the price range.

First off. This watch deserves a 3.5 grade. Overall, its a pretty good watch for the price. It runs smoothly, is quiet and most importantly is a pretty decent watch. The strap is of very good quality. It's very comfortable and soft. The face of the watch is where it runs into trouble the numbers appear gray in the picture, but are actually silver. They are very shiny. I don't like that characteristic of the watch. I find it very distracting and annoying at times when trying to read the time. The indiglo works well, but I rarely need it. Its an excellent value, but in terms of quality it clearly isn't that great. If you just need something cheap and reliable, this is a great watch for you.
