My son has had this watch for about 5 months now and loves it! It is the perfect beginners watch. The hour hand is black, and the miniute hand is red. And the second hand are balls moving around the watch face. It makes it easy for him to tell the difference. He can now tell me the time easily, before he had trouble telling the hour and minute hands. He wears it everywhere except in the shower. I love it because it is water proof so I don't have to worry about it. He has already soaked it a bunch of times. The band is made of elastic and stretches. It also is adjustable. So no matter how small or big your litte one may be, it will fit. The only complaint I have is it will loosen on it's own if played with enough. He plays with it a lot and it gets loose. So you just have to keep an eye on it once in a while to make sure it is still snug.

I bought the Timex Kid's Sports-theme Stretch Band Watch for our 7 year old grandson. It looks just like the photo, very cute, and is a very good buy. Our grandson absolutely loves it. Because the band is stretchy, It fits perfectly. This isn't my first purchase with Overstock and definitely won't be my last.

Not only was the band adjustable, it had basketballs and soccer balls on it ... AND Indiglo! Since Christmas Day, he has only taken it off at bath time; and has improved his ability to tell time!

Can always count on Timex for value and quality. Great watch. Adjustable elastic band is ingenious. Our nephew will love this watch. At 6 he's already into soccer, basketball, and baseball. All 3 represented on this watch. Can't wait to give it to him.
