Swiss Watch 8-slot Grey Multifunction Watch Winder Case

After looking through the internet this was the cheapest 8 watch winder by far that I could find! The closest I've seen is a WOLF 8 watch winder, the WOLF was selling for $1500 online, making this winder a great bargain. It looks 80% like the wolf, so what the heck, I¿ll give it a try. Out of the box it looked great! Material looked expensive, it was well packaged. The only thing I was worried was the AC adaptor, for an 8 watch winder with 8 individual motors, I thought the AC adaptor was a little small... For the real test, of course I plugged it to the wall and placed 8 of my watches on set it for the most rotations and wait to see what happens. Well, 4 days gone by and here is what I found... 1. My Breguet Marine did not wind, it had stopped. 2. My Audemars Piguet Royal Oak did not wind. 3. My Patek Philippe Calatrava did not wind. 4. My Breitling Super Avenger Black did not wind. 5. My Zenith Grand Grande Port Royal still have current time. 6. My Bell & Ross BR01-94 Carbon still have current time. 7. Both my Rolex, Submariner and Explorer II, still have current time. So, I did the next logical thing, I switched directions on the watches that did not wind. 4 day later... same result... All the motor was working, so I am guessing that the motors did not turn fast enough or have enough turns per day to wound these watches. But the REAL problem was the motors. After about 1 week, the motors started to be VERY VERY loud. It sounded like the sprockets or gears or whatever was inside, was grinding each other. Believe me, the sound it made was loud and not pleasant no matter how you look at it! That is my real problem. It is loud enough to keep me up at night. I am in the process of getting it replaced under its 2 year factory warranty, or I will try to get it replaced, we will see how that goes. If the motor had stayed quite, I would have recommended this to people with mid-range watches, because from my collection, it seems to wind just my mid-range watches, with the exception of my Breitling, my higher-end watches did not work with this winder at all. Which can only leave me to believe it will work with low-end to med-range level automatic watches. I do have a 3 watch winder form WOLF and it winds every watch in my collection with no problems. PLUS it is super quite! I would not recommend this winder to anyone based on the sound from the motor, but if you don't mind the noise and don't have any high end watches, you really can't beat the price. But as the old saying goes... you get what you paid for...
