Swiss Military Men's Railroad Watch

I've bought the Swiss Military Railroad blue dial from overstock,shipping was fairly quick & watch received as described & it looks great..Well I haven't spent enough time wearing the watch to give my impressions but I like it so far..

Watch looks great, even better in person. Had to adjust the band and that went smoothly. The blue dial looks great. Bezel is a little jumpy and makes changing the date a little more complicated then it should be. Otherwise it fits and looks great.

I got this watch for a few different reasons. First I collect railroad wristwatches, and this was a unique and interesting example. Second, I really like the much more familiar Swiss Military and Swiss Army watches offered by Wenger and Victorinox and wanted to give the Hanowa brand a try. Third Overstock had a percent off and a coupon that made this watch about 50% of the prices I could find online. I have only worn it a couple of times but it seems to be a quality made piece, no issues in fit or finish, and of course keeps great time. If your wrist is 8.5 inches or larger you will need extra links, mine is just 8.5 and it is a snug, but tolerable fit.

I recently purchased the watch and think it has great style. The thing that disappointed me about it was how easy I was able to permanently bang it up in a simple business environment. While all watches can mark up over time, this one seems to specifically scar easily. In approximately one week I knocked some of the paint out of the one of the tick marks on the stainless cap around the lens. along with that the band's stainless looks scraped up and as if I have worn the watch for a few months or more. I have owned a fossil watch that doesn't scar near as bad. Otherwise the watch has been enjoyable and has worked fine.

The watch is great, I bought it for my husband and it made a great gift! The Swiss Military brand is well respected and has earned their reputation for quality work. He was psyched to see that a durable watch could look so classy! It came in its original case, original box with all of its instructions, just as if I bought it from the Swiss company itself! Another thumbs up for overstock.com
