I bought this watch for our 5th wedding anniversary. My husband loves it. Its a beautiful and sturdy watch. Very well made. The only problem is he is a big guy and the strap is a bit tight so we will have to get a replacement. I emailed the company who makes this watch and they only make one size. Other than that draw back its a wonderful watch and I was extremely impressed by it. Comes in a beautiful box.

I ran across this watch brand by appearance only on Overstocks. It caught my eye and the price was very reasonable. For a lower-end priced watch I find it exceptional. I have owned many Seikos, an Invicta, and a Belair under a Jewler's brand name. These are all lower end, <$300 watches, which I have been very content with quality, feel, appearance, and reliability. This most recent Hanawa purchase probably exceeds my expectation above all the other watches as the feel is heavy, the metal work looks expensive, the watch band is of a very fine leather and well crafted to the watch. My only disappointment is that the outer ring of the watch face is not brushed, but pained and when examining closely, it looks a little cheap. Otherwise, it is probably the best watch for the cost I have purchased yet.

It is so sad that another shopper didn't get this watch on time for christmas. I searched store after store in mall after mall,to be certain that I would have a watch that my son would love and use for years to come and have it on time for christmas. He needed alot of features for working out and keeping time. He also needed something durable. He also needed something stylish, without being "pretty" like jewelry. This watch was perfect in all aspects. It is a very handsome watch and the steel casing makes it sturdy. It has a good feel to it on the wrist, not to heavy and not too flashy. Just right for someone interested in a quality peice. We ordered our watch just days prior to christmas and got in here really fast.

Wouldn't know how it works because the guarantee of delivery by the 24th didn't happen. Was the main gift for my Honey and I am really disappointed. Ordered a slide scanner at the same time and it was delivered 2 days after I ordered. Someone dropped the ball! My bad for ordering sooner, but lesson learned not to order Christmas products 2 weeks before. Will I still order Overstock, yes.
