I like the watch. But it would have been nice if it came with instructions.To adjust the alarm - lift the crown half way and turn clockwise. Then pull the stem, located at 11:00, out. It will sound once. To adjust the date - lift the crown half way and turn counter-clockwise.You can also adjust the date by lifting the crown all the way and adjust the time by 24 hours at a time. I also like that the cover is a magnifying glass which also acts as a stand when folded all the way back. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that it is not a wind-up. M. R. Orel
pretty, but date and alarm don't work! very disappointing-- but you can't tell until after the "orignial packaging is all opened and it's not returnable.
The watch is great!! Keeps good time, has an alarm, and comes with a chain(they are hard to find these days)..It has a main crystal and then a second crystal that functions as a stand by folding under, and as a protective cover for the face..It also magnifies the face slightly...I really like it!
Having always loved pocket watches, I was intrigued to see such an item offered at such a price. I knew I had to have it and ordered it. It is a delightful watch, although it is a tad small for my taste. I love its functionality as a timepiece on my desk and the alarm feature. It also comes with a very good chain.
