I recently purchased the Wenger Extreme II watch and have been extremely pleased. It's rugged, yet it still has a look that looks somewhat dressy. I've been looking for a velcro closure watch for some time, but they all look cheap. Not this one. I could do without the "Swiss Army" patch (It actually says, "Swiss Army") on the band, but the Red/White Swiss Army cross is a nice touch. A great purchase....plus it arrived within 3 days in a nice box with directions. Another winner....I've purchased 10+ items from Overstock, and I've been pleased with all of them.

I bought this watch for my night job of EMT. I wanted a watch with a velcro band and it was the only watch that looked good. I also wanted a waterproof watch. This watch has held up and has met everything I've thrown at it. The only thing I wish it had was backlighting, rather than luminous hands.

Got this great watch two days after ordering online, and it looks exactly like it was pictured on Overstock. I'm not that fond of velcro watch bands, but this one seems to be holding up well and is quite comfortable. I love the fact that the watch face is big enough to see the date, watch hands, and number markers without having to squint. Plus, it is great that the watch hands glow in the dark. This watch would look way big on someone with a really small wrist...but, I am a woman with an 8-inch wrist and it looks fine. I highly recommend this watch...especially since it is a Wenger. Good quality watch at a great price, and should hold up well. As usual, Overstock hits the spot!

I am very pleased with the watch. However, I do feel the band could be improved. It is a velcro band and it has a tendency to undo itself. A rubber watchband would be better suited to this type of watch.

I bought this watch a few years ago for my oldest son's 13th birthday. I looked at several watches appropriate for young teens, they were mostly sport watches with digital numbers. Then I went on the wenger website and found this watch. It's very versatile and durable, good for sport , but it could also be worn with casual dress clothes. He still wears the watch and has had no problems with it, in spite of his very rough treatment. Jump ahead to my second son's 13th birthday, I bought him the same watch. He had mentioned that he liked his older brother's watch. The velcro watch band is great because it fits a younger teen's wrist and will adjust as his wrist size increases.

Since I like the larger face watches, I purchased the mans in this watch instead of the womans and I am happy with it. It can be worn by a man or woman and looks great for those informal events. I wanted something to take on a camping trip and it worked great. I recommend this watch.

I spent a long time looking for a watch that met my requirements: durability, reliability, luminosity, good looks and a reasonable price (I'm a university student). Tired of cheap watches that stop working the day after buying them, I also didn't want a big chunky thing that stuck out half a mile from my wrist. This watch is the perfect size for me: not too big, not too small. From personal experience I knew that swiss army knives are top quality. Swiss-made time pieces also have a great reputation and when I saw the sporty-yet-stylish appearance of this watch I was sold. When it arrived in the mail I was more than satisfied that the appearance matched corresponding images on the web. I don't know how long the velcro strap will last because I've never had one before, but I don't care because there's heaps of various bands on the Net for this size watch. I don't think the original strap would fit a guy with huge wrists. Not many features (the outer ring doesn't rotate) but that's okay since I was more concerned with price, reliability and aesthetics.

Watch came in a nice box - was exactly as advertised. My husband is very hard on watches, but so far so good. Looks nice on the wrist. Band may be a touch small for men.

My boyfriend loves this watch! There are not many features, but that's exactly what he wanted... something that showed the time & the date, period. It's a sturdy watch that is great for someone who works outdoors like he does. He really likes the glowing hands & the adjustable, comfortable band. We highly recommend this product!

I purchased this watch for my husband as a gift. He loved it! It has a very nice fit and the look of the watch is that of a much higher priced watch. Since we have only had the watch a short time I was unable to give it a 5 for durability, but from the looks of it I would guess it will last a very long time.

the watch was very nice but for the price i thought it would have more features. the material was very durable and felt very good and sturdy but it only told the time, no compass or anything like that. all in all the watch was very nice.
