On only my third time wearing this watch, the clasp fell apart. If you read the warranty, they only cover the internal workings of the watch. I assure you this watch was not abused, it just simply failed during normal wear.

I received my Stuhrling Winchester Elite a few days ago and I am very pleased with it. I own a Rolex Sea Dweller and the craftmanship of the Stuhrling is comperable to the Rolex. Amazingly, the watch has kept perfect time which is unusual for a mechanical watch. I would recommend this watch to anyone who enjoys an interesting looking and quality watch.

I ordered this about 2 days ago for my hubby for Christmas. It arrived today in a beautiful box. I opened it and it is stunning. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is a big, chunky watch yet it is classy and elegant. I am thrilled and I think he is going to absolutely love it. The watch seems so much more than the price paid. I was afraid it would be small and dinky, not this watch. A beauty!! Hopefully it is as durable as it looks. I would be very surprised if it isn't. You will not be disappointed!!

I was looking to buy a skeleton watch. I've been eyeing this watch for a long time now and finally just went for it. I tell you what when I got it from the mail (which took only five days to get here over the weekend), I was stunned. The watch is so beautiful, I loved it. The box is amazing also! I would definately recomend this for anyone looking for a skeleton watch. Once again THANK YOU Overstock!

Totally satisfied again with Overstock and this product. More attractive than shown in here. My jeweler friend who adjusted the wrist band, said the buy was better than he could get and it was, according to him, a superior product. So actuallty you get more than you see.David R

The first watch I was sent didn't keep time for more than a few hours, we exchanged it and the second watch and the same issue and the second hand actually moved counterclockwise sometimes. Would not recommend to anyone because 2 of these watches did not work. It looks great but doesn't work. If you want something functional don't get it.

I would like to take this oppurtunity to say just how extremely satisfied I am with my most recent purchase from Overstock.com. This was my first buy from this website and I must say that I was initially somewhat apprehensive. However, once getting the watch and wearing it around and getting multiple compliments within only a few hours of wearing it I will say that those initial thoughts were quickly dispproved! From the service at overstock, to the price, to the quality of this sturhling watch, I must say that I am very satisfied! Excellent all around experience topped off by a superior timepiece!

I stumbled across this watch on one of my first visits to Overstock.com, and I instantly fell in love with it. With so many good reviews going for it, how could I go wrong? I was a bit apprehensive at first, since I would much rather try the timepiece on before buying it. I'm a skinny guy with small wrists, and reading some of the earlier reviews of this watch potentially NOT fitting thinner wrists almost broke the deal for me...but I went ahead and made the purchase. After it arrived a day later, I can safely say that I couldn't have made a better choice! It is indeed a gorgeous work of art and fits quite comfortably, through the crystal backing on my wrist will take some getting used to. This is my first automatic watch, and the whole "winding" thing will take some getting used to, but watching the little gizmos on the inside doing their thing definitely offsets such a minor adjustment :) So, this thing is awesome! Worth every penny, and don't hold back from buying because you have small wrists!

I purchased the watch thinking that it was a quality watch. WRONG! It was suppose to be an automatic movement watch. I had to swing my arm almost every minute to keep it going. I have a Longines automatic watch and I never have to do this. When I put it on it will run for at least a day. Save your money and buy a better watch.

I am so impressed with the quality and workmanship of this watch. I researched a LOT of watches before I decided on this stunning watch. The picture of this watch is good, but you have to see it to truly appreciate all of the fine craftsmanship and detail it possesses. Order it -you will be so glad you did!

A beautiful skeleton watch -- very interesting since you can see all the way through it. It is a very flashy but clean watch that doesn't go over-the-top. Definitely a watch I would recommend to anyone.

This is a seemingly well built product. I have had the watch for three years and only wore on special occasions. This past year, I noticed that a screw had fallen out of the face of the watch. Unfortunately, it's just out of warrenty and I am sure will cost an arm and a leg to replace. Bummer!!! :(

I purchased this watch in November, and decided to wait for a few months before I wrote a review, to make sure it held up okay. I own five watches and this is my favorite. The design is very intriguing and fun to watch it move. It is a bit heavy, but that makes it feel solid. It has kept perfect time for me and I only need to wind it if I haven't worn it for several days in a row. I don't need to go into great detail about the design, because you can see it from the picture. I am somewhat concerned about it's durability at this point, however. Just recently, I was wearing it and I noticed that the second hand had somehow come loose, so that it spins when I move my arm quickly. It is still ticking though. I have not done any strenuous activities with the watch. I live a very low-key life. I am a student, and I work in a library. Nothing active or "extreme" by any stretch of the imagination. I have several less expensive watches from different brands that I have owned for years and never had any problems like this, so it seems strange that this one which cost double the other watches would be defective. Fortunately, Stuhrling Original watches come with a two year warrantee, and I will be sending it in to get fixed for free, I just have to pay for shipping. So all in all, it's a beautiful watch, keeps great time, but be aware that it might break on you for no apparent reason. It still keeps time and looks good at this point, but the second hand moves freely.

Great watch. Bought for my husband and he loves it. Best looking skeleton watch I've seen. Came promptly, packaged well, and looks much more expensive than the actual cost.

Purchased this watch for my boyfriend on our anniversary. He asked for a skeleton watch and this was the coolest one I could find. The band is pretty large, so he will need to have links removed (he lives in NYC and the company is in Brooklyn so it shouldn't be too big of a problem). The watch is a good weight. I love that the watch feels and looks a lot more expensive than it really is. The internal parts are the coolest part, I can sit and watch the movement for hours. I especially liked this watch because it has the clear back, super classy.

This watch is fantastic. I get tons of comments on it whenever I meet new people. The skeleton aspect of the watch makes it stand out. The watch is a little heavy, which I had no problem with, but know that you might be carrying a little more weight on your wrist than usual. It is a great size, substantial, but not huge and overpowering like many fashionable watches these days; the watch is subtle but makes a strong impression if worn correctly.

Great Watch! I love the packaging, thought I ordered a bottle of wine at first. A bit shiney but great mechanical quality, crystal never scratches, and feels awesome on my wrist! Highly recommended....very classy and elegant addition to wardrobe. Quality buy.
