This watch is powered by automatic movement which means the winding of the spring occurs automatically when the wearer moves his/her arm. However, it is recommended that you manually wind the watch at least once every two weeks. It is also important to adjust the time once a month as automatic movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month.

I'd buy it again
I purchased this watch to replace my last watch of 3 years. I am a nurse that depends on a good reliable watch (and it is one of my splurges). The price was fair enough so I bought it. I really like it but it does have a few flaws. After about 2 days the gold parts started rubbing off. I am a little rougher on watches than the average person (all that hand washing and patient care) so im sure that contributed to it. I also noted the clasp lock gets hung on everything including clothes, hair (mine and my patients), and random things. Now for the good stuff.... the face is extremely scratch resistant, it requires no batteries, and it is beautiful... I don't think the picture does it justice. So... If you are really hard on watches this may not be the best purchase for you. If it is for the everyday, I say... "happy shopping".

Stunning and Wearable
This is the most beautiful, functional watch I have ever owned. The rose gold gives it a unique look and sets off the face. I can even read the date, which is not the cause with other watches I own. The weight makes it evident that the quality is there, yet it is comfortable to wear. I love being able to see the inner workings through the window on the back side of the body. As others have mentioned, Stuhrling has done an outstanding job of packaging and supporting their product. Value for the money spent is exceptional.

The packaging and presentation of this watch is fabulous. The Watch itself is beautiful.Easy to wear and one of the first watches I can actually see the date in the little window.Keeps time "on the mark" and I especially like the automatic feature. Had 2 links removed from the band and included instructions are more than adequate.Very happy with my purchase!!

Great watch!
I have been looking for a watch for a long time. I think this is the watch for me. It is elegant but sporty, durable but beautiful. I am so glad that there is such a nice quality for such a great price available at Overstock. I like how unique it is and will clearly last me for a long, long time.

This is a beautiful watch, i wished i had found it earlier in my career. I am constantly washing my hands at work and i do not have to worry about a little water. The second hand is easy to read and talk about quality, wow. It comes beautifully packed, this will make a great watch for any of you nurses who like the high end of elegance for reasonable prices.

Handsome watch
I purchased this watch to replace a Stuhrling I lost recently. The watch case is much thicker than my original, and it felt heavy initially. I am used to it now. I had it sized so that it would not roll around. The heavy case would have a tendency to slip around the wrist unless the fitting was done properly by a watch fitter.. Mine is quite comfortable now that I am used to it. I would have preferred yellow gold to the rose gold that it came in, but I am happy with my purchase nonetheless. Stuhrlings are outstanding time pieces, and I feel that the price for value was also outstanding.

I purchased this watch for my wife and it stopped working for no reason after only three months. Please, Please do not buy this item. This is my first negative review, I am very disappointed in Stuhrling.
