Stuhrling Original Men's Tuskegee Skymaster Automatic Leather Strap Watch

Guess I should have known that the discount was probably inflated artificially. It's sold as Swiss. As far as I have been able to tell it was designed with a swiss-style by a company in Brooklyn, NY, and the watch is made in CHINA. I still haven't gotten the time and date to work correctly. It comes in this grandiose box package with all kinds of pieces of flare clearly designed to make you feel like you really got something amazing. In the end I guess the watch is fine for the price. I should have paid more attention to the size of the watch. I have a large wrist and this thing is rap-star sized and often gets wedged between my hand and wrist when I'm bending my wrist- you never forget it's there. All and all, I wouldn't buy it again, I wouldn't pay a penny more for it, and unless I can get the thing set correctly it and it's luxury packaging is going into the trash. In essence I feel burned by it, but it's probably my own fault for being naive.

Very solid watch, leather strap is sturdy. The glow in the dark numbers do not glow as long as I would like, but, they really haven't seen any sunlight to charge. It needs a good wind periodically unless u are running marathons. I was shopping for a waterproof, mechanical, analog watch and this is where I landed. I'm satisfied.

Bought this watch for myself after having bought several Stuhrling watches for friends. I was very happy with it. I work in the Aeronautical field and this watch dial looks like a standard instrument gauge. Took one or more tries to figure out how to get the date and day of the week in sync with the watch dials, but since I did, it has maintain perfect time, date, and day of the week. Recommend for those looking for a good looking but utilitarian watch.
