Watch came in an impressive box (was a Christmas present), and the recipient loved it!! However, after replacing the battery and taking it in for other misc. repairs, I think that he keeps the watch because he loves me: watch has become a hassle to maintain.

As a Christmas present my wife gave to me a new Struhling Original watch, model "Marquis Gentry Classic". I am very pleased with my new watch. It is stylish and attactive, comfortable - and it keeps correct time!

I was disappointed with the appearance of the watch. It looks brassy and cheap in contrast to the pictures, with a very flimsy band. It looks like a street watch costing a few dollars. I can't believe the retail price listed. Not something I would recommend.

My first Stuhrling watch. Its elegant, relatively lightweight but with a solid feel and looks more expensive than it really is. Can read the time easily day and night. The packaging was in a class of its own. Love it.

This timepiece looks even better in real life than in the photo! Gold numbers, hands and hour markings contrast nicely with the classy dark blue face. The date window is rather tiny, but I didn't buy this for its calendar function. The elegant gold/silver wrist band was a bit large for me (better than being too small) but a local jeweler removed one link and now it fits very comfortably. My watch came inside rather impressive packaging, too! Regarding the durability issue, this is my new 'dress watch', I've only had it for a couple of months and its still working . . . for whatever that's worth! Nice watch!
