The new Cuvette from Stuhrling Original expresses elegance and grace personified in a mechanical automatic timepiece. Flaunting one of Stuhrling Original's most exquisite dials is the Cuvette with a swirled and wavy sun-ray design. Predominant element endowing, the Cuvette's charm is its graceful case. Constructed of solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel, the slender housing measures an astonishingly scant ten millimeters from the crystal on the top, to the crystal window on its bottom. The 10 mm thickness (or shall we say slimness) is by far the thinnest mechanical automatic timepiece ever offered by Stuhrling Original.

This watch is powered by automatic movement which means the winding of the spring occurs automatically when the wearer moves his arm. However, it is recommended that you manually wind the watch at least once every two weeks. It is also important to adjust the time once a month as automatic movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month.
This incredibly looking art deco timepiece is completely useless. The first one stopped working after a month. Was exchanged, 7 months later developed similar symptoms, sent for warranty repairs - it's taken 6 weeks (!) to repair and after that - no guarantee it won't happen again. All and all in the last 9 months I did not have a watch for 2. If you are looking for the authentic art deco look, it's better to spend couple of hundred more and get an Atlantic Worldmaster, Swiss timepiece of proven quality
This Cuvette is nothing compared to the Heritage I own. The movement on that watch is so quite and smooth, you don't even notice it's working--and it keeps excellent time. This watch has a very loud and rough movement. So much so I sent an e-mail to Customer Service who advised this watch is louder than others and as long as it's not striking any internal parts, it should be OK. I have an electric winder and this watch will not work on it, so I wind it manually. When I do, it does tend to keep good time. But--for the money--try a Seiko Automatic--much better made watch!
i bought this watch for my boyfriend for christmas and was very pleased with the prompt delivery and the presentation. the watch came in its own case and looked very impressive, but the color of the watch band was not the same dark brown color pictured, but it looked a little reddish. i still do think that the watch is a beautiful piece. for some reason, i did not realize that the watch had to be wound manually so ill have to buy a watch winder for my boyfriend as well. anyway, i love the watch, he loves the watch and he get complements on it all the time.
This watch has become my new favorite! It's understated and elegant, and the case diameter is perfect for my wrist. It seems to be keeping accurate time and it seems to keep itself wound quite nicely. I like it enough that I'm considering buying a second one and putting a black band on it! If I could change anything about this watch, it would be only to have the band be a slightly darker brown. If I happen to come across the right band, this will be the perfect watch for me!
This watch lasted less than one year, but it was stolen before we could activate the warranty. My son still liked it so I bought another one.
How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Fine
How accurate was the sizing? Very
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Not that great because this is a replacment for the first one that was broken, but it was stolen before we could activate the warranty! My son liked the watch though.h
