Really handsome watch. Given as a gift, the guy never takes it off, says it his favorite gift of the year. He was very impressed with the quality and weight of the watch. Would buy again. Large and handsome.

A very substantial watch. The diameter of the face is large, but smaller than many of the other ones out there (many of them are just too big). It sits quite high up and has a very bold, masculine, sturdy look. Tons of details. Unique without being ostentatious. Surprisingly easy to set up, even with all the little dials. The packaging was impressive too. Gave it to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he loved it. Will definitely buy Stuhrling Original again.

what a beautiful watch. I bought it for my husband as a Christmas present and it is a classy, well-built watch. I think it will look sophisticated on anyone and could be used for everyday or business attire. The watch's face is just as the image portrays and is large (which we wanted), and is exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend for christmas and I can't wait to give it to him. The picture does NOT do it justice. The watch is beautiful! Certainly a great a watch at an amazing price.The box that it comes in is quite spectacular too. Words aren't enough to describe the sincere beauty of the whole presentation of this watch.

I ordered this watch for my husband for Christmas two days ago. IT ARRIVED TODAY!!! OVERSTOCK ROCKS ON SHIPPING!!!!!! Then when I opened the watch to look at it, I JUST STARED! WOW! This is a great quality watch. Very manly and stylish. What a beautiful timepiece for the money. I compared others of the same quality and they were between 250.00 and 400.00 dollars. Now I can't wait until Christmas when he opens it! What a surprise he's going to get. He'll think I hit the savings account for this one! LOL That will be our little secret! GREAT JOB OVERSTOCK!! excellent buy,the watch was easy to set and comes with instructions which are easy to follow for setting the moon phase, it actually is very accurate when it comes to the moon phase as well as stylish and comfortable to wear a good buy!

This is my first Stuehrling timepiece. I was highly attracted to the moon phase indicator as an interesting additional feature. The product discription fails to mention the beautifully done numerals. The raised scrollwork really makes the numbers on the dial jump to life. My only complaint is that the second hand does not perfectly align with the dots along the number ring. However the timepiece as a whole is truely beautiful.

My grandson is getting out of Army basic training next week. My search for military style watches brought me to this purchase. I don't know about durability, he won't get it until next week. It is a beautiful watch, looks way more expensive than the cost. I'm truly satisfied with my gift to him.

This is my first Stuhrling timepiece, but it is doubtful it will be my last. It is simply beautiful, yet still masculine. It has a surprising heft, but it lends a feeling of being solid and well-made; it is not unwieldy in any sense. The lunar phases are accurate, it keeps perfect time, it is easy to set and you will get compliments galore on this timepiece. Do not call it a watch. That would simply demean an amazingly well crafted piece of functional jewelry such as this. If you are looking for a timepiece that will look as good with neat-casual clothes as it will with a three-piece, this is the timepiece for you. You owe it to yourself to give the Aviator Calendar Pro a look, preferably a long one.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. He wears it with a lot of pride. This is a high end watch. The regular retail price is hundreds of dollars more than what we paid. We went to get links removed and the watch place showed us there other Sturhling time pieces and they were selling at a discount for well over what I paid.

just a great looking watch with a design that is even more intricate than you can tell online. good, heavy watch. a great deal for the price. im not a big fan of the band, however, as it comes undone very easily. still a great watch overall.

My wife gave me this watch for a wedding gift this past Fall. I had selected it as a leading choice out of several I had researched.The good news, it looks just as sharp as the picture. Nice heavy watch, not too large on my wrist, and I really enjoy the lunar dial. Also seems to keep good time, I've not had to change the time for the last several months.Now for the not so good news:First, the response from Stuhrling customer service is nonexistent. I had visited their web site in October to register, and received a confirmation. Shortly afterward, I sent a message asking for clarification on the warranty - and never received a response. I have recently sent them another email asking for information on replacing the crystal as it has become scratched - again no response.Second, while the band is nice and shiny -that doesn't last too long. It has developed a number of scratches. And a reputable watch repair shop, where I had it sized, told me that it appears to be a cheaply made band.I still like the watch, but would definitely say the excitement has worn off.

I had been eyeing this watch for nearly a year when my girlfriend surprised me with it for Christmas. The positive reviews are no mistake, despite the 1 year warranty extension given for a positive review. The packaging, quality, and look of the watch are top notch. For those with big wrists have no fears as I am a bigger guy and needed 3 links removed. Setting the watch takes a bit of time but is well worth having the moon phase feature. All in all this is a great watch at a reasonable price.

I collect watches and I thought that this watch was a great watch for the money. I ended up the gettin the watch hundereds of dollars off the original price and when I took it to my jewler to have some links taken out, he commented on how beautiful the watch was, and how well it was made. If you like watches, buy this one. This particular Sturhling comes in the black face, or the white face. I got the black but I would also like to get the white face.

I bought this watch four months ago, the date hands have fallen off, the second hand gets stuck, the band began to fall apart withing the first 3-5 days. looks great, great packaging, but definately a substandard watch. i buy a lot of watches and should have done my homework before buying this one. If you are considering, please google the watch manufacturer and be sure to read what the experts have to say about the watch.

The watch looks great. A little difficult to set all of the dials but once they are set it is really easy. The case has been able to take some abuse but he band is showing some scratches after only a few weeks. You have to look close but still not a perfect quality coating on the watch band.

Great watch by a great company! Everything is great and the watch is exquisite. One minor issue was that the colors on the watch face appeared different on the website, otherwise I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you!
