Ooooh! This is just the most amazing watch I've ever owned. It's stunning, glitzy without being blingy, and sophisticated. It doesn't hurt that the white topaz gemstones look like diamonds. I like the fact that it doesn't have a huge dial like are so popular in women's watches today. It's comfortable, keeps great time, and my only disappointment is that the window for the date is very tiny and takes close inspection to see with my older eyes. ;-) It's solidly built, heavy but not too heavy...just substantial. I highly recommend this watch to anyone who wants an elegant and reliable timepiece.

I obsessed over this purchase, because I wasn't sure I wanted a jet black face, as the photo shows. The face is actually an irridescent medium gray in color and is lovely. It reflects other colors on the mother-of pearl face. The contrast with the high-polish metal on the watch is not as striking as the photo shows it, and I'm quite happy with the way it looks. The gems are understated, and the whole piece is just beautiful with white gold or platinum jewelry. I can wear it to work with a suit and feel that it is very polished, but not overdone. It does have a wide band, but that is part of the style of the piece. I have small wrists and generally like smaller watches, but it looks just perfect and I'm glad I chose it. The metal band needed adjusting for my smaller size, but we easily found instructions online and were able to make the change at ome. Thanks for a wonderful new watch.

This is my first Sturling watch, and I just LOVE It. I was so excited by the style and classic charm of the watch I am sure it will not be my last Sturling purchase. I am a watch collector and this watch has become one of my favorites.

This is a gorgeous watch! Like the other review said it's weighted perfectly and the face is just the right size. The white topaz gems really make the watch. The band is quite big so I had to take 2 links out, but other than that it is a great buy, especially for the price!

I have been wearing this watch for a few days now and really like it. It is much bigger than it looks on the site. However, the quality is obvious and it really is unique. The black mother of pearl is interesting, it looks brown though, not black, so if you are expecting it to be a dark color be prepared for it to look chocolate brown. The only con is that the clasp opens quite easily, without much effort, so I will have to be careful not to catch the watch on anything and have it open accidentally. The clasp also must be closed in a very specific way because there is an "S" insignia that closes over the clasp. I do wish the topaz were more sparkly indoors (looks great in sunlight) but those are minor details and overall it's a great-looking watch. You can't beat the price. I would not hesitate to buy this watch as a gift or for any occasion, it's classy enough for dressy occasions but also fits in just fine for every day wear.
