The glass is pretty, but closer to dark orange than deep red. There were slight dents and imperfections, and the silver bolt (seen at the bottom of the photo) isn't exactly dead center on my piece. All in all, a fair piece for the price and not worth returning--after all, you get what you pay for. It's a nice-sized pendant and I did receive a compliment on it. I do think some of the five star reviews are overstating the quality. But perhaps their pendant wasn't as dinged as mine was.

I wear this all the time, and often get compliments. It is a great piece. I have it on a longer chain, since I am taller, but other than that... Love it.

Not only is the pendant very pretty but , for once, the chain is of good quality and can be used with other pendants.

I ordered this necklace because I thought it was quite different, I love red and I was interested in it because it was of venetian glass (what is that??!!). It arrived in a nice redoverstock velvet bag which looked very nice. I have not worn the necklace because I am afraid the chain is so tiny that it wil break . The glass stone is very cool, color is good and I like it very much. I have only one snake chain and I generally will transfer items to that necklace in cases like this, I just haven' had a chance to wear it yet.

The necklace and pendant are very nice. The red on the pendant is a bright red, which looks great with everything I have worn it with. Nice quality and great price.

The shape and colors go with so many items. Looks terrific with a longer or shorter chain. Such a terrific value
