I gave this to my ex-girlfriend while we were fighting and then she was suddenly pleased with me. It's a good get out of jail free card

This sterling silver and amethyst chip bracelet is quite beautiful as are the matching necklace and earings that I bought with it. I gave this jewelry set to my girlfriend overseas for our anniversary along with a beautiful diamond and amethyst sterling silver ring from another jeweler. As far as the amethyst chip jewelery from overstock.com goes...it is good quality, not going to fall apart or break, and is very unique if one is going for that "I Am Different" look. Don't know how much it really matters, but the amethyst chips on the bracelet were a hair...and I mean a hair...darker than the amethyst chips on the necklace and earings. I was kind of hoping for an exact match all around...but that is next to impossible when working with natural amethyst as it has many natural shades. However, I still think that the jeweler who manufactures this jewelry as a matching set (bracelet + necklace) should intentionally match the color of the amethyst chips on the set...I mean how hard would that be? Regardless, I am happy with my purchase. Thanks Overstock.com
