This is a gift for my teenage daughter. She likes dragon flies and jewelry that is a little different.This is a large piece and can be seen quite well. She has not seen it, yet. However, if she doesn't like it, I will gladly take it and wear it. It really is a lovely peice.
I am very pleased with my purches. I have always liked turquoise, and the detail on the dragonfly is wonderful. The price also was affordable. Where most turquoise is expensive.
I love this pendant! The colors of the turquoise and opal, the silver and general workmanship and quality of this pendant is way more than I expected. It's a nice size pendant, measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. It includes a nice chain, but the pendant could easily handle a larger chain if you prefer something heavier. This piece will look good with dressy outfits or jeans. I typically don't buy jewelry for myself. I leave that for my husband, but I'm partial to dragonflies and thought I'd buy this. I recommend this highly. You won't be disappointed! Also, kudos to Overstock for their quick shipping! I ordered this on 9/9/09 and received it today, 9/11/09.
I got compliments on the necklace the first time I wore it. It's so much prettier than shown in the picture. The workmanship is awesome, especially the pattern on the wings. I highly recommend this to not only anyone with a love for dragonfly designs, but also anyone who's a fan of turquoise jewelry.
