I bought this necklace for my niece who is turning 13 & I think it will fit her well. I only complaint I have about it at this time is that it arrived in a bag instead of a box..

The product will make a sweet gift for any jewelry and birthstone lover. One drawback is that it is relatively small and appears to be very fragile. I would be more satisfied paying around twenty dollars for it, rather than XXXX.

Got 4 stars because of the very small chain. Small meaning tiny links. Might replace that but very nice item. I would recommend this to anyone.

I am giving this product only three stars because while the pendant itself is quite nice the necklace strand was so chincy that I threw it away and purchased a much nicer one. I like the pendant since it was something different that had the Peridot in it. It is for my 23 year old daughter who had my first granddaughter in August so I think she will like it.

I love these pendants, I've always loved the hourglass filled with sand, this takes it to a new level, filled with gemstone dust! Great gift idea for Christmas.

I ordered this necklace as a birthday gift for myself. I have never been a big fan of my birthstone (Peridot), but this necklace provides just a touch of it without being overwhelmingly green. The color is subtle. I wore this with several different color oufits the week of my birthday and it went well with almost everything. The size of the necklace and chain is dainty, but is well made so I don't fear breakage with normal wear. As somone else mentioned, the hourglass does work, but it's quick - the bottleneck between the two sides shold really be smaller.

after placing this order i started to worry that it might be a little more cheesy than i was going for but i am glad to say that is not the case. the hour glass charm is very petite and delicate looking and the peridot is a bit more muted in real life..less neon as in the pic and the crystals move easily through the glass when tipped over. it's a gift that i've yet to give so i can't comment on the durability but it certainly seems like it should be fine...maybe not the sort of necklace one wears day in and day out...i wouldn't want to sleep with it or shower as, again, it's a bit delicate in nature.
