Gifts Aren't Always Crap Shoots!
Buying ANYTHING without finding at least ONE other review is always risky... but... even WITH a review sometimes, we're still taking chances.... ESPECIALLY when it's supposed to be a gift that's being shipped directly -- there's no chance of inspecting it and making a decision for yourself, RIGHT???? Well... I am happy to report that it showed up on time, in perfect condition, and ended up being PERFECT in every way imaginable -- I still get reports of people admiring this piece... and asking where it was purchased! I was a bit nervous due to the fact that the chain didn't seem all that impressive... I wondered whether or not it would hold up to the weight it was supposed to carry -- I have been told it works nicely. For the money, and the enjoyment, it has been well worth the risk. I'm quite pleased with the entire experience, and the fact that this is something that has carried with it a message, as well as an intention that was also portrayed in its workmanship.

overpriced
The necklace arrived in a plastic bag inside a plastic pouch (not a box) with a tarnished chain (that is, the chain is partially black, not silver and shiny as in the photo). The pendant itself is clean and does look like the photo. I paid $$ for this product and it is worth about $$. Since I'm giving this as a gift, I will have to clean the chain (if possible) or buy a new one and I'll have to get a gift box.
