My dear hubby bought this for me as he thought it looked great online. Definately not in person! It is light as a feather and a true sterling sillver necklace with this appearance should have some weight. Just holding it you can feel the cheap quality. You could get the same thing from a dollar store...don't waste your money on this one!

I was delighted to receive this beautiful necklace and have worn it several times and received lots of compliments. However, as I was cleaning my silver I cleaned this necklace and was very surprised to discover that it is NOT sterling silver but a thin silver overlay over some kind of white beading, probably plastic. Cleaning removed at least half of the overlay. (My other silver items were undamaged in the cleaning process.) I have purchased items from this company before and been very pleased, so this came as complete surprise, to me and to them as well. Overstock.com has been very helpful and has agreed to refund what I paid and is paying the return shipping as well.

Looks like a silver pearl necklace. Better for more causal attire than I wanted it for but I do like it. Have earings to match and found a braclet to complete the look
